**Update:The manager Angie called me up and was very apologetic and friendly. A company who is willing to actually follow through and see why their customers are upset that’s pretty rare and awesome. She explained why their system did what it did and they’re working on it. Here’s your five stars back. **I’ve been to the store many times and I like it a lot.However I placed a large-ish delivery for the next day. 20’ flats that I didn’t have a trailer for. I got the order in before 2pm etc. a couple minutes later I get a confirmation email that says it will be a week later. I call them up they say they can still deliver the next day but the fee will be $150. Ok fine - paid it.They call me say they only have 25 and I needed 35 but they’ll deliver them for free when the additional 10 get in and said they would reverse my $150 deliver charge because it was their fault. Sweet!Here’s where I decided to leave a review.* They call again- and said they can’t deliver until 4 days from now.* if I want it tomorrow it will be $300.* and it will only be 25 of the 35 I needed.So my project was completely hosed.I just cancelled my order and I’ll try elsewhere. Be careful when you order on their website because their inventory is not live and you won’t find out until you call them.

I've purchased several items from Coremark and had them cut to size for me. I really appreciate their customer-focused attitude. I've interacted with Garrett behind the customer service desk, Annie in customer support, and Heather in sales...and all of them have been super responsive and helpful. Go to Coremark if you have a metal need!

Excellent customer service from sales (Angie) to security, service counter, to the young man who carried product to my vehicle. A seamless process with follow up and communication at every step. I have been a customer of Coremark Metals for many years ant this review is long overdue. A metal yard is not the place you expect to get exceptional customer service but that is exactly what I get every time I come here. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. I am a weekend warrior, coming in for all sorts of random things depending on my current project, and they treat me as if I was their biggest customer buying by the ton. I have used them for their laser cutting services as well and the parts were perfect! After a conversation with one of the executive team members, its obvious that they take care of their people, and the people in turn take care of their customers. I always leave with a smile!This past trip to Coremark Metals I had some longer pieces that were going to come from the yard and not the showroom. I was directed to park over to the side and they would load everything. As they finished loading I asked if I could leave my tuck parked there as I had more shopping inside. I went in, grabbed one more thing and returned to my truck. As I approached my truck I found Mario, the gate attendant putting a red flag on the end of my metal to keep me safe and legal on the ride home. I didn't ask him, he just saw the need and did it! THAT is customer service at its finest!

Superb Customer service!We got kind of lost of the entrance , trying to find out where the entrance is and there is a energetic man who really welcomes you, never met this really energetic and vibrant employee, he should be in entertainment or even in televisions! A lot of wonderful employees who really focuses on their customers wants and needs. I fully recommend this place A+++

Coremark Metals is an impressive place. The facility was very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I brought in a sample to have measured and not only did they provide me with the measurements, they gave me all the specifications of the piece and asked what the specific needs were for my project. Once they knew what I was using the metal for, they informed me of what size would work best and how many metal pieces I would need. They then brought me to an area where the best priced metal that fits my project are kept. They had large selections of metal you can purchase by the pound, which worked perfectly for my project. I will definitely go there again.

The first sheet of stainless we bought was damaged upon arrival. I sent Annie several pictures of the situation and she immediately sent a replacement sheet, packed beautifully, which arrived soon after. The new stainless looks amazing and installed easily. Thank you, Annie, for all your help and effort on our behalf! Here's a shot of the finished project. Thanks again!

At Coremark Minneapolis, Parker was very helpful in finding material & bundling it up for me. And MARIO at the checkout station is just phenomenal. He just exudes good vibes. He talked about how he loved his job, his co-workers & management. He was so positive, I wished I lived or worked closer so if I was having a bad day I’d drop by & Mario would boost my spirits.

Had a miscommunication on cut size- they made it hassle free - happily cut a new piece of steel plus the employee who normally cuts was gone for the day so the “big guy” himself cut it! Excellent service!!!
