I appreciate them. When you need medicine, you appreciate the store. Good and recommended.

On October 27, 2023 I have very bad experience with Madeline M Ulfig (Pharmacy Manager). She filled a wrong medications than what a doctor prescribed. I asked her to change it and she refused. She talk to me like yelling at me and told me if I don’t like that medicine that she filled then I could go somewhere else. I was feeling embarrassed because I was been treated with no respect and there are so many people waiting in line, staring at me making me feel uncomfortable, and my patient right has been violated. Therefore, I am asking this pharmacy manager to be terminated and/or re-trained how to treating customers with respect and dignity, otherwise I will never come back to this CVS pharmacy location and recommend people not coming to this location. I will definitely switch to a different pharmacy other than CVS. Thanks for reading this complaint and hope your company closing down and going bankrupt because what your employees treated customers is unacceptable.

My package shipped by UPS and left the this store’s UPS Access Point “conveniently” disappeared less than 24 hours after it was delivered (and a claim put in by “someone” before I even got there to pick up my package). A little suspicious to say the least. Stolen by an employee? Hmmmm

No baskets. I don’t understand how a store can punish paying customers, especially those with disabilities, by not providing baskets or carts due to theft issues. They need the basket that have the tall poles sticking up so carts can’t get through the front door. Problem solved.Won’t be coming back here.

Come here if you want to be profiled as a shoplifter no matter how much money you spend at this store every month- Every retail store deals with shoplifting. Especially after Covid and George Floyd. This location treats everyone with suspicion, and every time you look at makeup, the stupid thing says, "customer service in blah blah blah" to keep an eye on you, specifically. F-off. Seriously. They even lock up all their toilet paper now. Today, I informed an (understandably apathetic) employee that it's frustrating, annoying, and rude to have to deal with this when you loyally spend money at a business. They act like they don't care, but they *will* stalk you passive-aggressively while you shop.Shop somewhere else unless you're desperate- Even the one on Nicollet isn't this screwed up in their approach. Hire a security guard as a deterrent like them, ffs.

The hours rarely reflect when the pharmacy is actually open. I have been late to work, late to appointments, and missed doses due to the pharmacy being closed at random times that are not posted. This is clearly an ongoing management issue and it is appalling for a pharmacy to operate this way when people are dependent on the service to receive medications. There is not another CVS within a close distance that I could easily switch to and I assume this an issue for others as well. Absolutely shameful.

They told me since I have 2 insurance cards I have to call them before arriving so that they know which card to use. But every time I call them lately, I’m on the phone for 45 mins, the call ends for some reason, and then I have to call again. I’ve spent over 2 hours total trying to call them some days. Sometimes I have to contact them to refill a prescription because it won’t let me refill it online. I’m so tried of having to wait so long to just have a 2 minute conversation with them. The only time when I didn’t have a terrible experience with this pharmacy was when they hired a really good pharmacist, but she left so now it sucks again. And at least when Valerie was there she answered the phone

There is a new male pharmacist who this week was prompt about filling my prescription. Two females previously were very slow and I was called on the terrible auto system when prescriptions were not all ready. I could never get through on the phone.

Avoid this pharmacy if you can. They have an automated system that is supposed to tell you what's available for pickup and what's ready to reorder. It's worthless. Ignore EVERYTHING it tells you. It's always wrong. You have to contact the pharmacist directly. Plan to spend at least 1/2 hour waiting on the phone. If you go into the pharmacy, invariably they don't have all your medications ready, and you have to go back. They will tell you they will be ready on Thursday, for instance, and if you give them leeway and go in to pick them up on Saturday, they won't be ready. If you get a message saying they're ready--ignore it. They won't necessarily be ready. The staff is usually grumpy--probably because they get tired of people getting angry at them all day long for all the ineptness. One good thing--their lines aren't too long.

I have been waiting for two weeks for a refill, they told me they were out of stock and it took a week to finally stock up again. I go to finally pick it up, and they told me it was still out of stock. I’ve told them to put the order in 3 times now.

At approximately 3 PM on Oct. 20, I was stung by a wasp. Since I had a childhood alergy, I immediately went to the nearest pharmacy, in this case CVS at Washington Avenue Southeast, Minneapolis, MN (two blocks away). I ran in and went to the pharmacist. I explained to him my situation, and asked him for first aid, in this case baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), which would at least partially neutralize the venom. Without looking up, he stated that they had run out of it, and continued counting pills. I ran through a number of common, non-prescription solutions, etc which can at least partially neutralize the venom. He continued counting pills and without looking up, each time mumbled "no". Finally, an employee said that a Walgreens pharmacy was two blocks away. In my opinion, that pharmacist should be fired and have his license revoked. It is noteworthy that virtually all of the reviews on this CVS on Googlemap are negative. The business has not responded to the reviews, and they are still in business. I have filed a formal complaint against this CVS and against the person who calls himself a pharmacist.
