Customer service continues to slide into the abyss at this store. On 6/4/23 (mid afternoon) the nice young man at the front register tried to be so helpful, but had trouble with the transaction. He asked for help from a manager. The guy came and was rude to the young employee and downright snarly to me. It's uncalled for. Many people in the neighborhood have given up on this CVS for the same nasty customer service reasons. If they want to stay open and make profits, they need to up their game and train their employees in good customer service.

I scheduled a Covid test for travel 2 weeks in advance, only to get a text an hour before that it was cancelled. You need the results of a PCR test for Covid within 72 hours of landing in another country. I ran across someone that had the exact same thing happen to them at this location 4 DAYS AGO. So they knew for at least 4 days they couldn't do it but didn't tell me until an hour before my appointment! Unbelievable, Why?! If they had cancelled it 4 days ago, or even possibly before that, when they knew they couldn't do it, I could have better luck finding a replacement test in time. I went to the CVS to find out what was going on, they just said they couldn't do the test when I went in. It's impossible to schedule another PCR test anywhere to get the results by the time of my flight. CVS you've lost my business and my families business, this is the worst customer service imaginable. Why not tell people you need to cancel their appointment when you knew it rather than wait until an hour before and leave me and others high and dry? Horrible. The implications could be tragic for some... Luckily I just needed it for travel.

37th and central CVS Pharmacy Staff is the best. Hands down. If you’re complaining, you’re doing it wrong. Be clear. Explain what you need. Tell your doctor and ask your pharmacist for help. Guess what? They actually help when you ask for it. It’s a miracle. Don’t be afraid to ask, truly. They’re there to assist- especially at this CVS. They understand the urgency. They also know the frustration that can occur when things go wrong, but don’t twist the message. “Get your tickets out before you enter the ride.” Ya know? Be prepared! Then you know that you don’t have to rely on anyone to take care of you. But the staff here is truly good people.

Rude pharmacy tech. If you don’t accept an insurance, be polite about it.

Our neighborhood has an annual garage sale event. We always put up signs to draw traffic in from a fair distance. This year, due to construction, we needed to change a few sign locations, so went inside this CVS to inquire about doing so. Note: I am talking about one sign, placed the morning of the first day of the two-day sale and then promptly removed as soon as the sale closed. The sign would be up for about 33 hours. A CVS employee told me that the company does not allow this. No reason given - just policy. Apparently, according to the employee, CVS does not even participate in city-sponsored events and therefore does not put ads in the announcements for the town festival, etc. They want no part of "community", but they are certainly ready with an outstretched hand to take the community's money when citizens come to their store. Now, if someone wanted to put up a sign that was political, divisive or racist, I can see why the company wouldn't want to be associated with that. But, like many corporations, they come up with policies that throw the baby out with the bathwater. That is, they create blanket polices that afford them the luxury of not having to think or use their brains; no one is able or willing to look at things on a case by case basis and make competent decisions. Perhaps, if CVS doesn't want to support the community, the community shouldn't support them, either. I'll be the first to start not supporting them.

The pharmacy entered in my insurance info incorrectly even when I had insurance. Was billed to my parents health insurance and was out of rebilling window. Now I have a $500 charge for medications that I had insurance for. I highly discourage gettings scripts from this pharmacy.
