Amazing customer service and stellar auto body work on our 2019 Volvo. We couldn't believe how much the deep scratches and damages to our car had been repaired to look like new. And it was a 3-day turnaround (other estimates were 7-14 days and 3X as much.) Highly recommend.

MASSIVE thank you to the staff at Central Ave Auto Body. I went in for an estimate after being rear ended. I could have gone anywhere, but a personal reference plus stellar online reviews solidified my choice. I'm so glad I did. The difference was the experience, knowledge (and sharing it), and inherent trustworthiness. Getting rear ended sucks, but finding hidden gems right in the community to help sure makes it better. This auto shop faked repairs and then lied about it after getting caught, my insurance company has opened an investigation against them. Rick is a slime ball and low key racist and the owner is a clown with shady business practices. If you hear them say they hate your insurance company run for the hill!!!! Document all transactions and conversations with these crooks lest they pretend they never spoke with you. Go with turbo tims auto shop then them these clowns.

My car is a special order: Ford didn’t want to build a convertible with a manual until I threatened to cancel my order. I baby it, always parking away from other cars and never driving it in bad weather. When some jerk crashed into it in a parking lot and fled, Central Ave Auto Body took care of me, and did a phenomenal job replacing the quarter panel and bumper. Not only does it look like factory, they were very professional, efficient, and accommodating throughout the whole process. As a car guy, I also appreciate how clean it was when I got it back, no buffing compound built up in the jam or anything. I would not take my car to any other shop!

I’m really impressed with the work I had done on my truck. Not only did they quote me the best price out of three companies. They were quick and had my vehicle back on schedule, only a couple days after I dropped it off. They really went above and beyond to make my truck look even nicer than before the accident. I had some scratches on my bumper from other cars brushing against it. I wasn't too sure if I should have to have someone fix it or not. But they convinced me that it wasn't worth fixing and would cost more than anything. He told me I could bust out a lot of it, so this save me a lot of money as well as time without my vehicle!
This was very enlightening that the person didn't try to sell me more things than I needed. Thank you sir! ?

If they say they don't like your insurance company - do not take it here!Note that my insurance company Allstate did not handle this well either - and my frustration with Allstate is equal or higher than my experience with Central. Unfortunately, I found that neither company acted in the best interest of their shared customer (Me).The short version:Took my vehicle in to Central for front end damage repair after hitting a deer. I wanted to take it to a local company vs. a chain like Caliber.Brought Tahoe in for inspection and to get a new headlight temporarily installed so it was road worthy while I waited for an appointment. Gary at Central said he could put in a headlight no problem, which I certainly appreciated. He asked what insurance company I had. "Allstate" I said. From there, he said that Central does not like Allstate. I brushed it off and continued to book the rest of the work. I wished I had stopped there.Central had my Truck for 5 days straight at the beginning of December. When I returned back to town to pick it up... the work was not done. Why? Supplement work (which is common). The issue that I observed is that Central refused to follow the Allstate process of submitting supplement forms through their online portal. Central just "sent an e-mail". Well that e-mail went to no-one.In the subsequent weeks, I went back and forth with my insurance company and Central. Allstate kept saying: "Submit the supplements through the portal." Central kept saying: "either read our e-mail or have someone come see it in person. we don't do the portal."I understand the big-box frustration from Central to Allstate... but the stubbornness was astounding. Just submit the supplement through the portal!!Ultimately, I had my insurance agent go to the shop with me. From there, I went to the back of the shop and submitted the supplement myself through the Allstate portal. Yes, I did Central's job for them.December dragged to January... another supplement. Then the last bit of work was set to be completed - a bug shield and one bracket, expected to take 30 minutes. I brought the truck back in, sat in a local coffee shop for 4 hours. Called Central asking if it was done... was told by Rick at Central "come pick it up."Got to the shop and guess what? Neither the bug shield or bracket were completed...wrong parts ordered.Just got the bracket and bug shield installed. The project is done, 3+ months after my initial 5 day appointment.Overall the work is okay... the hood of my truck has a small mis-alignment (was told there is no way to fix it). But the process was very frustrating. 4 individual appointments with Central. 3+ months. Multiple diatribes on "We hate your insurance company" (sorry, don't take the job then?) And not a single pro-active phone call through the whole process. I had to call every time (even when waiting in a coffee shop).If you are not confident advocating for yourself, nor have the time, I cannot recommend going here. I think the work is okay, but the lack of customer centricity is clear.As mentioned at the beginning of the post - Allstate did not help in any way throughout this. Lesson learned it just go through a preferred shop recommended from your insurance company.

I just want to give a special thanks to the entire central auto body shop ! They worked on 2 of my cars, and they do a VERY GREAT job ! It looks brand new . I would never take my car anywhere else for body work but there !
