1920 Central Ave NE, Minneapolis“Great service all around. I get all of my art framed here. Their framers are very knowledgeable and I love everything they recommend. I also use them for hanging art. Also great!”
“If I could give more than 5 stars I would! My order status was not updating and Becky and Steve were such a big help in getting me updates. This was a gift and I needed it by Saturday and they helped me with tracking it. The poster is such great quality I will definitely be ordering more posters in the near future!”
“I can't say enough good things about our class at Legacy Glassworks. Setting it up was easy the person on the phone was incredibly friendly and sent an email confirmation. We were cheerfully greeted upon entering and had a nice look at the shop. Three cheers for our teacher Owen, he gave a great demonstration and assisted us throughout our class. He insured that we'd have a good outcome and was skilled, friendly and cheerful. Its too bad I can only give five stars, this place deserves a bunch more.”
“On my way to the American Swedish Association it was a great experience to visit our neighbours here in Minneapolis. Unfortunately due to preparations for the Holiday season and cafeteria renovations my pitstop was fast & furious.
Gift shop was limited and got the suggestion to visit the 103 year old store nearby called Ingebretsen a couple of blocks away.
Note: although this area of the town used to be where the upperclassmen were located today you will find global immigration from Africa, Latin America and other countries all mixed. The fact that the Norway House decided to stay in the area is a recognition in diversity and inclusion. We discussed this in length with the cashier in the store!”
“Great collection and incredible events occur regularly here. The art here is consistently of the highest quality and the different styles all come together to create a very welcoming community in the Elliot Park neighborhood. Make a plan to attend an opening night celebration in addition to the closing night party. Live music and other performances can be seen at this intimate gallery during those events. I highly suggest becoming a member as you get free entrance to events and other great perks. The membership price is affordable & a payment plan is an option. Artist talks typically occur during the regular exhibits & are emceed by solid members of the greater art community. I make sure to budget an annual membership to solidify my spot in the art community because the viewers are an important part of it.”
“Nice place a unique place and a nice Native American gallery located in South Minneapolis inside the coffee house called Pow Wow Wow grounds change the display is often all authentic all Native American artists I always find it interesting to stop and see what they have new when I'm in that area truly a great place to stop to bring the family or by yourself this day and age we can all use a little culture and a little history also is always been clean and everybody's been courteous I hope you have the same experience that I have many blessings in your way and live the best life possible”
“It's a beautiful space with amazing art from a diverse spectrum of artist and artistry. You WILL find something you love. The only problem? Sticking to your budget! You'll want everything! ?”
“Old seed warehouse, multiple stories, filled with artist studios and quaint shops. The NKB is worth wandering anytime of the year, is a zoo during Art-a-whirl, yet may require personal appointments to gain access to the more interesting or arcane bits. Watch for first Thursdays and open studios throughout the year. Also insinuate yourself into this community and gain access to a great social and artistic activities and events.”
“Duke Albert is a gem full of gems on Central. I'm so glad I realized that it was NOT a barber and popped in for some unique shopping. Walking in, I loved the decor which included neon lights and a big State Fair chalk mural (this is a belated review from the summer. RIP, summer). Duke Albert offers an assortment home goods, bath and beauty items, gift, trinquets, and even some vintage clothing from local artists and beyond. I ended up getting a plant hanger, enamel pin, and colorful skirt. Other tempting items of interest: local hand soap, cool candles with metal skeleton cores, silly cheese kit that they found in France, an antique stucco stamp, vintage games and posters. The owners (I assume) were really cool too, providing lots of info and even insight on where they found some of the unique treasures. I'll for sure stop in here periodically when I want something for friends but mostly myself.”
“I love coming into the gallery and looking at what new unique art and treasures they have. Jolie and Kiera are one of a kind, as is their store. Framing is top quality and service is amazing. And the cards are goofy and hilarious!”
“Ended up here by chance, twice. Both times we walked away with a feeling of peace and tranquility from our experiences here. We purchased timeless one of a kind pieces that hold great meaning to us. The owner is incredible. She's warm and compassionate about her pieces and everything is special. Come to look at beautiful jewelry and clothing and art but also to learn about the artists and cultures where they came from. We absolutely LOVE this place and it's perfect for a stop on your walk on a beautiful day!!!!”

I highly recommend this business, I have trusted many of my very valuable pieces with him and I am always impressed with the level of professionalism, impeccable service and level of communication. Ryan is also one of the finest humans you will ever meet…kind, great morals, thoughtful…a genuinely good person. Thanks Ryan!”
“There's lots of lackluster art in the world, but you won't find any art Rogue Buddha. Discerning collectors will find interest on every wall. Those looking for kitsch, not so much.”
“I had two fine art pieces recently framed at Icebox and found the quality and value to be very pleasing. Howard matched my vision with the correct frame, matting and glass for both pieces and gave me tips on how to properly hang the artworks. Paul S.”
“Amazing exhibit of the most exciting, colorful, and expertly painted pictures of nature and popular Minnesota attractions.Michaels paintings are fantastic. His art studio includes prints, magnet as well as original paintings. You will not be disappointed. And the location has plenty of parking. With a delightful little coffee shop in the same building.”
“Amazing place, instructors are kind and awesome. Its impossible not to have fun! You can learn and do anything from welding to sewing to 3D printing and laser cutting!”
