I've had a storage unit here for almost 10 years due to me note being able to get my own apartment over the years. I've had roommates and all but couldn't get my own apartment due to pricing. I've been late on my bills before but I've always paid the amount they desired or requested. I've had 4 surgeries in the past 2 years and one of them was a hip surgery at the end of July last year while also living in a mental health treatment facility. I was communicating with them by letting them know that I can't work and I was trying my best to come up with the money. I spoke Dan which told me my bill was only $300 in July. I had that money in July and the employees there didn't want to accept it until I talked to Dan. I paid $320 from a $500 bill. They took what little money I had. My bill shot back up to $700. My mental health caseworker and his boss tried to pay my bill the last day of my bill and the day after. They told them "No we're not accepting a card. She came back the next day to pay half cash half card because her company was helping me with my bill. She made the mistake of saying, "Once we pay we're gonna get him out of here." That's when they said that they've already sold it. This happened last year in November. Well I'm able to get into an apartment now. But I lost all of the things that I've saved up for this reason. My daughters are 10. 8 and 5. I've lost their things, I lost all of my expensive Batman, anime, and comics book collection, I had SEVERAL KITCHEN appliance, 2 flat screens, a bed and I've always been into clothing. I lost all of my seasonal clothing. I barely have ANY clothing left. This still hurts me deeply. If there's anyone that could help me with a lawyer I that would be awesome. I would gladly reward you if you could. I don't like doing things like this but I have nothing now.

This place has been here for over 30 years it shows its nothing fancy nothing too trashy looks to be secure of course you get insurance or have to have insurance to rent there I ended up getting first month free and the rates are average for the market. No 24-hour access it's gated and even have to have a code just to move up to the second floor in the elevator which is nice I guess for security reasons. I'm sure it's lasted and has been successful just because it's right in the city right off the highway the staff was very nice and helpful.

Horrible place. Mice feces everywhere in all my contents. As I was removing my items, there was a mouse in one of my boxes. Place is dirty. Barely any space to maneuver your car. Lady at front desk was rude. Told me I interrupted her, she was in the middle of a chat. People parked in the middle of the driving lane and wouldn't move their car. Don't waste your money here.

I have used this storage twice now and I don't have any problems. My only thing is that I wish it was climate controlled and if the carts had rails on the sides, and another elevator would be nice.

Management is real cool as long as you follow the rules and respect people. Night shift guard got weird with me one time but there was a little scetchy situation going on and staff are really protective of the facility.

A recently came to my unit and I found roden droppings literally over all of my stuff. The woman currently working there 8 /14/ 22 Was less than helpful. And her response to the situation was to move me into another unit that had water damage that has yet to been addressed. I actually had to call someone at the Brooklyn Park location And that woman was very helpful. The rodent droppings weren't really the issue, it was the staff's rudeness and lack of professionalism that was.

I set up my rental online which was super easy. after i paid i was given my unit # and gate code. I went to see where things were located such as the elevator and carts. I stopped into the rental office and was greeted by Harold McCowan, the property manager, who was very friendly. He helpped me get all the paperwork signed in under 15 mins. very impressive. He even took time to walk me to my unit. He explained where the security cameras were and how to use the codes to access where i needed to go. after my visit i am sure i picked a good storage location. i was reassured if i have any problems to just call and things will be handled in the fastest way possible. Harold made my visit very satisfying. i'd recommend acorn storage to my friends and family.
