A great neighborhood hardware store, of the kind that have become quite scarce in Minneapolis. Andrew quickly and inexpensively repaired an old barrister bookcase door that had a broken metal hook. Great work, and great service. We will be back!

Needed paint chip matching services and went here as I’ve been a loyal customer at this location for a number of years. I got excellent service from Dana and was super impressed with the results. This store is well staffed, well stocked and has meet my needs for a number of different projects. Thanks so much!!

Helpful staff, broad range of products. Great that I didn’t have to leave the city for a hardware store.

We didn't find the exact bolt we needed, but our Ace salesperson went out of his way 2 look 4 it. Excellent customer service, and we were greeted by everyone b4 he helped with the bolt search. Lovely experience, would highly recommend!

I've lived in this neighborhood for 3 decades and I LOVED this store when it was owned by Ace. You could shop online and SEE if they have the items you want in stock. No more. Now it is a local chain who is too lazy to put their inventory online. As a property manager, my time is valuable and within a couple of minutes I can decide if the item I want is in stock so I can decide whether or not to make a trip to a store. THIS chain of stores clearly don't care. Once again today, I made a trip for some low dollar items and of course, they didn't have them. AND of the things they DO have, they are way more expensive that ACE. For instance, a faucet wrench from THEM is about 25% higher than the ACE store a mile away. This is typical. SO, if you are a busy person and don't like to waste time looking for inexpensive, common items, don't waste your time and go to ACE.

Came looking for lumber, but I found gold. The sales associate who assisted me provided me with a cost saving alternative to my initial needs. When I had offered to pay extra she refused and thanked me for helping keep her shop clean. I absolutely love the fact that she helped me find a better solution to my needs. Recommend 10/10

I went in yesterday and bought a toilet seat. I specifically mentioned to the cashier that I wasn't certain if I had the right size, could I please have a receipt? Cashier says, sure no problem.I did not have the right size, but when I brought it back in (in the packaging, the day following the sale, with the receipt) a different cashier said that it was company policy not to accept returns on toilet seats, forcing me to buy a second toilet seat and leaving me with a too-big seat that I'll never be able to use.If it's company policy not to accept returns, it should also be company policy to inform the customer of that when they specifically mention they might need to exchange it.

Good selection of stuff in the small space they have for a hardware store. Employees will ask you if you need help if you’re into that. Have a bunch of plants out in the summer which makes Hennepin look nice which I appreciate. Cool store

Nice people and a whole lot easier to navigate than Home Depot. Of course fewer choices but they had what I needed.

Girlfriend went in to have a key? made. Had to visit not once, not twice, but three times. Employees tried blaming her (tried the first two keys myself), and complicated the process beyond measure.Handful of the male employees have poor attitudes that they wouldn't display with a man present. Keep in mind if women in your life are visiting alone, or are a woman visiting solo.

By far the most helpful and least invasive staff of any hardware store in town. Cashier asked me what I was working on. I said stained glass. The person behind me in line chatted with me outside as a 30 year stained glass artist and offered guidance should I so choose. This is why buying local is amazing. It really builds community.

Hardware stores are the way to go . Support the local guys. Home depot and menards have their good points too, but id rather go to a locally owned hardware store any day

Always friendly and knowledgeable service to be found here! They have such a great selection of all the typical items you’d expect to find at your local hardware store. I’ve always been able to trust their advice and they don’t try to over-sell you on something you don’t need. Love to browse the lawn and garden section the most.

While not as much selection as a big-box hardware store, they always seem to have what you need. Staff has always been friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

A great spot to stop in and pick up that one thing you forgot for your project. Decent prices, friendly and helpful staff, and a good rewards program all keep me a loyal customer.
