“I stopped at Dixon in desperate need of help to solve a charging system problem while participating in a racing event at BIR over Labor Day weekend. The crew at Dixon dropped what they were doing to test my alternator, diagnose the issue and install the needed parts to return it to functioning condition. After installing the repaired alternator, I was still having problems. They took a phone call and clarified what should be happening. I subsequently found a short in the wiring harness, repair it and salvage an enjoyable racing weekend! The staff was friendly, informative and helpful to a stranger in need. There are not many shops left that would provide this high level of service for a walk-in! Thanks again, guys!”

“All good. Best tire price on the snow tires. Unfortunately the warranty is not included. As I recall it was included before Pomp’s took over. This added $25 to each tire which made the price the same as everywhere else. They did a good job.”
“Had a tire punctured by a screw while on vacation in Pequot Lakes, so I drove in to Jamey's quickly while my tire still had some air and Jamey fixed us up and got us on our way in about 15 minutes. He was very friendly and I couldn't be happier with the whole interaction. Thank you, Jamey!”

“Kelly’s is the best and has been for years. The new owner, Cody, is amazing and honest. I took my car to a different shop close to my house because it was making an awful noise and I didn’t think I could make it to Kelly’s. Big mistake. This shop in Crosslake said I needed two new rear wheel bearings and new brake pads and rotors. I was shocked as Kelly’s had just replaced my brake pads and rotors within the last year. I called Cody and was upset, questioning if they had truly done the brakes. He assured me they had and offered to do all the same work as the Crosslake shop for half the price. Crosslake quoted me $2030 and Cody quoted me $1000-saving me over $1000. I limped my car into Kelly’s the next working day and he said I did not in fact need new brakes and rotors and he even showed me their condition (perfectly fine). He said I had just one wheel bearing out but suggested I do them both so they wear evenly with each other (which is true). All in all, my car is running AMAZING again for $900!! Thank you Kelly’s for your honesty and overall amazing work you do, this mom surely appreciated it!!”

“Can not say enough great things about this place. Lucas and Jeff went above and beyond to make sure that the camper we found was everything we could have wanted before we made a trip from Kansas. They even helped us plan our first Minnesota camping adventure! The time that they spent with us before and during our experience was second to none I’ve ever had. “Drove three hours up here on a Friday for vacation and ended up having a loud whistle come from the front drivers side of my vehicle. Was given Haataja auto’s info from a friend in the area and Don was available to help in a pinch. Took the car Friday night and was able to figure out the problem and get it all fixed in less than 24 hours for a great price. Great communication and good at explaining the problem to someone who doesn’t know much about cars. They do honest work - would 100% recommend.”
“Been looking for someone to fix our 4 wheeler for months. It had a few things that needed to be done. When we take something in, we always know we won't see if for weeks. My husband dropped it off at 9am and by 2pm it was done and ready for pick-up. We weren't even going to call about it for 2 weeks. It was overheating, a tire needed fixed, the oil needed changed and the wench wasn't working. The bill was cheaper than we anticipated. Nelson's didn't show up in our search when looking for someone, we heard about him through word of mouth. The only thing I would suggest is better advertising for him, we wish we would have found him before we did! We definitely have a new repair guy! Fair price, quality work and gets the job done fast.
