Ace Hardware was recommended as the place to go - it totally was! Experience and a willingness to spend the time to find the little part, to fit it to my cart, and send me on my way - all for a 33-cent sale. “Family-owned and operated and going 70 years strong. There is a reason for that, because they treat their customers like family. It hurts me to know that they suffer from rampant theft and the drug-addicted take over of the area. Thanks to their crazy city council that doesn't protect the people, and leaves an entire police precinct abandoned. I love places like this. Keep up the great work, keep up the awareness. “Awesome, friendly people here. My husband rents tools here often for home projects. They have a free section outside their door, at least on 9/13/23, they did. And they have several things for sale in the entrance too! I told my husband to buy anything he wanted - he did! The only thing I would recommend, to be changed, is to make the signage - BIGGER -... The first picture (hopefully the way Google portrays them, it'll be my first picture,) shows how small the Tool Library sign is. That'd be my only suggestion! Great parking available, many entrances available too! Check their website for varying hours!”

Once I got home I still couldn’t figure it out so I ended up going back to the store to see if they could help. One of the employees (may have been newer) went to get a second opinion from another when he wasn't sure what to suggest for my request. A quick and pleasant conversation discussing my options made me glad I'd stopped here instead of driving out to wander the aisles of a big chain store.”
