We were recently driving home from the North Woods when our SUV went into limp mode about 30’ above Mcgregor. Autosmith’s reviews were so positive, so we decided to call and ask if they could take a look. Adam immediately worked us into his busy schedule, diagnosed the problem, and got us safely to Minneapolis with a great solution to the problem. Knowledgeable, efficient, fast, and absolutely the friendliest guys you could hope to appear in a time of need. I recommend them highly!! Great job, Autosmith!!

I love this shop. Everyone is friendly and they can get my car in for routine stuff fairly quickly. They never try to up charge me or suggest work that is not needed, I really appreciate that.

I would, & will in the future, avoid this auto shop at all costs.
Our sequence of events with this place:
-Car was leaking fluids
-Got it towed here, as it was the closest place around
-It took over 6 weeks for them to even get to looking at it
-We are finally able to come pick it up (after a $1,500 bill), only to find it is still leaking fluids..
-They told us they “want to make it right”
-We paid for another tow back up there
-Find they never addressed the original issue, want another $3,100 to fix the real issue (which we declined at this point)
-After all this, they STILL charged us the labor just to look into the vehicle again
-Cherry on top, we go to pick up our vehicle & it had a dead battery, we had to run to Ace hardware to buy jumper cables.
All said & done, we’ve been paid over $2K just to have an un-drivable vehicle for over 3 months, & it’s still not even fixed. Telling all my family in the area to go elsewhere with auto issues. Don’t waste your money (& time) with this joke of a place.

My husbands tire was loosing air pressure and we were able to make it to the shop before it went completely flat. Unfortunately, the shop was closed. To our surprise after a few minutes the owner (Justin) walked out and assisted us, kindly. He was efficient and friendly and offered to help. He certainly did not have to help us, and did anyways. And was even kind to our 4 year old who was getting in his way. Thank you!Service: Tires

These guys took time in their busy day to do an emergency tire repair so that I could get home, after having a completely flat tire on my way . They were professional and friendly. Very accommodating!

I recommend Autosmith in McGregor Minnesota because they saved our road trip to Duluth. We were 200 miles from home in a very small town and they dropped everything to help fix our tire. They were super nice, and didn't price gouge us. $21 to fix our tire!! We got turned away from another shop in McGregor but Autosmith saved the day!!
