Horrible customer service and hours. What bank closes at 5:00 pm when everyone gets off work? The teller wouldn't deposit the full ammount of my check because she said the numbers were not written clearly enough for her!?!? They also wouldn't print me out a sheet of checks I requested they said they don't do that. Every other bank has done that for me!!! Do not bank there until they change their policies!!!!

Worst experience visiting Maplewood, MN branch after unfortunate unexpected death of our father. Searching for needed answers I made contact with bank he was member of for several years unity one credit union requesting only information about dad's loans, balance, what is required and how to place an executor. They advised death certificate was required to gain any knowledge or access any information. Received death certificate visited branch asked to speak with agent the teller asked about what.. expressed sadness for fathers loss expressed I require only information. The tellers asked for death certificate then begins typing not sharing any information just being very quiet/ secretively typing. Craig nice employee in branch approached expressed his condolences per he knew my father. During speaking with craig the teller calls someone in company find out after teller hanged up she was speaking to Jackie in texas whom guided her in a process of removing all funds in account to pay bank loans dad had balances on. I did not bring in death certificate so they could utilize it to secure funds for dads debts with them. I brought the document in because that was required to simply gain knowledge/information. This bank cared more about securing payment than advising/ educating their clients family members during difficult times. Very upset feeling deceived and disappointed in the handling of process. Look if loans were to be paid no problem. Client should always be honestly informed of any process before begining and until completion. I departed very upset with Unity one credit union.

If I could give this bank ZERO.... 0 stars, I would. This bank won't even let you gain access to your account numbers when you go online banking. Like who does that? Terrible online banking, service and bad credit union.

I've been using Unity One since the 1980s, when they were Burlington Northern Credit Union based in downtown St. Paul. They have always been accurate, pleasant and accommodating. Through all these years, Unity One has been our primary account. Everyone in their branch locations (and there have been many over the years :) ) has always been helpful and friendly. Their loan and savings rates are competitive with commercial banks.
