Where do I begin… from my appointment being made to checking out after my services, my experience at JCPenney Mpwd was soooo top notch! Hidden gem to say the least! There are some amazing stylists workin behind the chairs! Very knowledgeable, patience for days AND accommodating! They squeezed me in last minute and made me feel so welcome! Very clean /but modest salon and I when I was finished, my color and cut was perfection! I even booked my next appointment! The mgr Alesha is doing a great job and you can tell she loves what she does! Thank you so much! See you soon! ?

My mom, sister, and I had a hair cut and color with Amina. She is the best! Very knowledgeable and experienced about what she is doing. Amina did such an amazing job! We do appreciate having her at the salon and also having a private room! I highly recommend doing your hair with Amina.

I have been going to Amina for over 6 years, she is a professional, master ,designer who is up to date with the latest techniques and styles. She listens, and is definitely a master at her craft. I came to JCP Salon in Maplewood 4+ years ago.. My hair was not in good condition. I got my hair colored, highlighted, cut, and styled by Amina. She did such an amazing job. I have been going to her ever since. Amina is so talented and knowledgeable about all things hair. She has helped me get my hair healthy again. I moved from SoCal to Minnesota and it took me a while to find a hair stylist who knows how to do relaxers for black hair. Amina at JCPenney has been my stylist since Nov. 2022, and I’m really happy with her services. She’s very attentive, always making sure I’m satisfied with my hair style. She also provides valuable advice on caring for my hair at home and answers my questions. The team is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Amina for your next salon visit.

I would give no stars if there is a option. The last time I go. I made a schedule on Friday they call me to reschedule because the girl that I scheduled with was a no. I rescheduled to Sunday called to confirmed my appointment. The girl that answered the phone said the stylist was running late can I reschedule to 1:00pm. I agreed to reschedule to 1pm. When I got there the stylist was a no show. Some one could had called me that the stylist did not come in again. No one called me. Poor management! The manager of JCP Maplewood solon need to get their facts straight and hire stylists that want to work. I drove 25min for nothing. This happened to me 2x. No wonder they are going out of business. Poor service, poor management skills, and poor worker. I’m done with this JCP solon in Maplewood mall.
