They give you pennies for your things that you sell to them and because of their low ball offers they are finally starting to run out of things to sell here and it's showing their DVDs and Their video section is especially Xbox 360 and original Xbox games is starting to dwindle of anything worth purchasing a anymore and if they don't start giving people more money for their things they want to sell it's going to get worse as time goes on. Your going to run out of stock eventually and if noone sells you their things because you keep low balling them you will run out of things to sell and end up having to shut down. It's pretty sad every time I come here that the Xbox and Xbox 360 games are completely wiped out except for a few games that no one wants I keep wondering why you don't restock them but then I remember why cause noone is selling you their games anymore. Let's be real why would people sell their games here especially games that are worth good money for peanuts when they can sell emthem on eBay for way more? Half price books you better figure it out before all your left selling is books and that's it.

Wish I had found this place earlier! Books, CDs, Vinyl, and Movies all clearly labeled and organized. I love Graphic Novels and have had a hard time finding good selection in stores, this place had tons! Half price on top of that?! Can't beat it and will be back.

Good variety of book in store and okay price given for books brought to store.
On my next trip, I was greeted at the register by a cordial yet efficient employee who made sure I was on my way. I was also much more impressed with the selection this time. Found the author I was looking for.

Love stopping here! They always have a few good CDs/DVDs and I even found a somewhat rare special edition of a book that had been on my list for a long time! I don't bother with their vinyl though, typically priced too high.

Pretty good selection, but some of the prices on used books are the same as what you can get at bigger retailers for new books. It doesn't quite live up to the name, sometimes. They have a clearance area that does have better prices, but the selection is of course smaller.

I really wish they were able to buy books for better rate because I always spend 2x as much as I receive!? I love yhe obscure cds, random odds and ends and could spend hours just wandering around looking at stuff. Love this store and the employees are always quick with a smile and short chat about any topic!

Sold off my entire collection of VHS tapes during a rough patch. Years of finding, including multiple rares, including at least one tape that I'd bought FROM Half Price for $25 a while back only for the sales clerk to claim that VHS tapes are only sold for $1-$2 each...and I got $12 for four bags of them, likely about 50 tapes. I was forced to accept it as I was so desperate and Half Price is the only place that even accepts those kinds of tapes at all, but now I wish I could just get my tapes back. It feels like I got scammed. I was never expecting full resale value, but that was less than 50 cents a tape.
