These people are Con-Artists and Liars.I regret to say that my experience with Evolution Pet Food has been nothing short of disappointing. As a customer, I’ve encountered several issues that have left me frustrated and disillusioned.Unauthorized Billing: On multiple occasions, they charged my credit card without my consent for shipments I neither ordered nor received. It occurred over 4 months before I caught the criminal act amounting to hundreds of dollars. I retained detailed records from my credit card of the inaccurate charges plus I have emails from Evolution Pet Food stating that it was a clerical error and blaming a former employee. I naively gave them the benefit that it was a "random error" that they kept on doing repeatedly over 4 months.Rotten Kibble: Imagine my shock when I received a bag of kibble that emitted a horrendous odor. When I raised this concern, they had the audacity to gaslight me, suggesting I didn’t recognize the smell of rot. To prove my point, my partner sent them the offending kibble for their own analysis.Missing Order: Recently, I placed a $130 order for canned food. It never arrived. When I reached out, they once again resorted to gaslighting, claiming the package was stolen. I contacted UPS, who conducted four investigations, however, Evolution claimed they never received any communication from UPS and states I never contacted them about the issue although I have a dozen emails proving my correspondence.Broken Promises: Evolution offered to resend the missing food, but it never materialized stating I didn't confirm my address. Again I have emails showing I confirmed my address multiple times. Their lack of follow-through is just part of their con. They had no intention of resending my shipment. They only made the offer after I disputed the charge with my credit card company given no resolution after 2 months. Then all of a sudden, they want to work with me to resolve the issue. The credit card company stated that Evolution claims that have a proof of delivery and I never contacted Evolution about any issues, however, I retained all my emails with Evolution because I have proof versus their blatant unsubstantiated lies.In summary, Liars and Con-Artist never change!Evolution Pet Food operates like a shady enterprise run by unscrupulous individuals. Save yourself the frustration and consider purchasing from a more reputable source. There are plenty of other high quality options out there.

Our cat loves this food and comes running when she hears the bag! She has been on supplemented plant based diet her whole life and the vet and blood work always shows she is very healthy and at the perfect weight.Very playful and energetic with healthy skin and fur that smells good at 6 years old.

Eric shared life saving suggestions to a mutual friend for my kitty who was suffering from a UTI. Her symptoms were dramatically better in just a couple days. I have also found his site to be very informative and helpful!! Thank you Eric!!

Our dogs absolutely love this food and thrive on it! They have so much more energy! We have 2 large breed dogs, age 12 and 14. I feel confident they are getting the best nutrition when eating evolution pet food. The ingredients list is the best of the best! Our dogs love the wet & dry food! After they finish their food they check each others dog dishes and floor for extra scraps. They will even eat it as a treat! Recently had blood work done on dogs as annual checkup and the vet was so pleasedWith their fantastic blood work at their age and asked what food we feed our pets! So pleased with Evolution Pet foods for quality ingredients and the health of our pets! 10 stars for for quality of ingredients, and caring about the health of everyone’s pets!

Use ami or benevo or any other brand. This brand is not vegan. I was a loyal customer buying dry kibble. Then I bought the wet organic. My cat wouldnt eat it unless i smashed it up and when i did I found pieces of plastic along with tons of BONE fragments. The owner claimed to lab test the fragments I found. But, he refuses to show results. Instead he claims it's mineral based calcium and told me to use a different brand. The fragments in question were clearly bone. Marrow could be seen on some of them and the outer side was porous just like bone. If there is bone and plastic in this "vegan" food who knows what else is in it.

Please do not buy your cats or dogs (but especially cats) vegan pet food. Cats are obligate carnivores, and they can’t digest plant byproduct like we can. I honestly can’t believe it’s legal to sell “ vegan cat food” as your pet will not be happy or healthy on a vegan diet (I wish they could but they’re not built like we are). So if you love your pets, get them Orijen, or something that has real whole ingredients and not pea protein .

I want to say how grateful I am to Dr. ********************** for saving my cat's leg and his life. On May 5, 2022, ********* had an accident and broke the tibia in his left hind leg. Initially, ER vets splinted and bandaged the limb, but my usual veterinary office changed the bandage every week after that. Unfortunately, my kitty started going from bad to worse because the vets sedated him every time I brought him there. He did not react well to sedation, and I could tell that the medication they prescribed for pain relief affected his health. He also had inflammation in his right eye, which the vet said was herpes viral conjunctivitis. But the worst part was that after two months, there was no indication that the broken bone was healing. The vet said the leg needed surgery immediately and might need to be amputated.I called Dr. ********************** to ask for his help. When I told him the story and showed him photos of ******************* knew my cat was suffering from adrenal failure and could die. He instructed me to get bacitracin zinc ointment for *********'s leg and eye. He also told me to get an antibiotic prescription from the vet and start giving it to Ping Ping at once. Dr. ********************** explained that the drugs used for sedation and pain relief prevented the neuroregeneration necessary for new bone growth. He recommended that I change *********'s bandage at home and give him a compound of vitamins, minerals, glucosamine, and chondroitin internally, by mouth, and externally on his injured leg. I started *********'s new treatment plan on July 8 and looked for another vet who could take X-rays without sedation. After three weeks, my cat's conjunctivitis had improved, and new X-rays showed bone growth at the fracture site. By the end of August, my cat's leg bone was 70% healed and stable.********* is acting like a typical cat again without any apparent weakness. All of Dr. **********************'s advice to me was free. He charged me only for the healing compound. I cannot thank Dr. ********************** enough.

I have been getting my dog food from Pet Food Evolution since we received our dog. Our dogs coat is shiny and he goes after his food as soon as it is put in his dish. I have used both the dry kibble and the canned. He is healthy and I feel good about what is in his dog food. I am so glad that a friend recommended them. Thank you for giving us a healthy option for our pets!

Evolution Diet makes awesome pet foods, my cat did well on Evolution. I was feeding her Evolution until she started getting urinary tract infections, and the vet prescribed a medical diet formula to prevent that from happening again. Unfortunately Evolution does not make medical diet formulas, so that will be a drawback if your pet needs to be on a medical diet formula, hopefully the company will in the near future start making medical diet formulas, as the company expands they might, and if you have a pet that needs a medical diet formula, let them know, the more demand they see, the more likely they will be to start making those formulas.Urinary Crystals are due to genetics, some cats are genetically prone to that problem.I am considering putting my cat back on Evolution because I HATE buying animal products! I am going to have a consultation with her veterinarian, and talk about the possibility of putting her back on Evolution, and giving her a Urinary Tract Supplement, I will edit this review and let folks know if I do, and what the outcome is.Unless your pet needs to be on a medical diet formula, Evolution is a very good choice, not only better than animal product pet foods, but also better than other Vegan pet food makers, very nutritionally balanced, and no preservatives.I recommend using only the KIBBLE VERSION of Evolution for a cat, and either put kibble in a puzzle feeder, or better yet if you have time, throw kibble morsels on the floor, and let your cat chase the morsels that way they get exercise at meal time. Evolution Kibble is designed to be served dry or wet, but in my opinion based on my personal experience dry is best for a cat for the reason I stated above.

Use benevo or ami cat the owner of this company has questionable morals. My cat developed urinary crystals on the gourmet ultra life organic cat food(the most expensive food they sell). I was aware that cats can develop urinary issues on vegan food but the reason for the low review is because the owner of this company told me that it is not possible for cats to have urinary issues on his formula unless i didn’t follow his feeding protocol to the t (see photos). So essentially he blames people for the inadequacy of his pet food and makes up pseudoscience to protect his income. The bag also has a bunch of bogus awards and claims that are unsubstantiated by science. I wish i had looked into this company a little more before making a purchase.
