“Our church, the Presentation of Blessed Virgin Mary, brings food to Salvation Army's food shelf weekly. I do the third week. God bless this charitable organization for feeding the poor. I believe that they received food from many sources with shelves for clients to pick various food items.I know they help the poor both spiritually and materially. What a beautiful organization!! Someone can write a better post than this but this my experience.”

“They are always happy to take coats, socks, especially warm ones in fall/winter, sweaters, sweatshirts, flannel shirts, boots, shoes, etc. When you find you don't wear something, don't toss it, donate!”

“Their unusual hours of operation means I only have a certain amount of time to shop and it's over too soon...Added 2024: This was my mother's favorite place and with her gone now I go there with my daughter. Great place and great prices and don't forget your punch card... Love it”

“The Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce has been a treasure trove of resources and vendors for my business. It is very easy to navigate through their business directory to look for other businesses such as my own (real estate). Since I have joined the chamber in 2020, I have used the services of at least three vendors that I have met at Chamber events and am more than satisfied with the level of customer service each has provided. Laurie, Michele, and Coleen have been very supportive in finding resources and hosting events! Am looking forward to being more active with the Chamber and networking with new and existing businesses in the community!”

“Attended "I Am My Own Wife" on Sat nite. I walked out of there thinking " this is why I go to the theater", "this is why theater is so important".The play was excellent, informative, provocative. The actor was amazing--playing many roles, variety of accents, individualizing each role so audience wouldn't be confused. I love the intimacy of the black box theatre.Thank you for an absolute wonderful evening of theatre!”

“Had stopped in the parking lot to go to the old family dollar only to realize it's non exsistance. But I said oh boy hunny to my bf! "A thrift store" all with him rolling his eyes. Signe out side said "classy not pricey!" I was sold then and there. Loved the people friendly and helpfull, pricing is a tad weird and confusing but sinage around. they participate on deals for certain enrollments. I was like wow what a great place. It was ment to be as an avid thrifter. And at the end of my purchase he greated me"welcome home". 10 stars:)”

“I was there for a concert. The church was great!! Pews were well- marked with tape. This allowed us to self- separate for spacing. There were many people, and still enough seating. Concert was Border CrosSing, Classical Latin American music!! Everyone wore masks-- Yay!!”

“It has all the basics (plus more) and the gym is kept very clean. My main complaints are the Saturday & Sunday hours are limited (not best for us later risers) and some of the equipment is becoming a bit dated.... I also wish there were more classes, but for the price I think it's a good value. You may be able to get a discount through your health insurance as well, since they are connected with the main programs out there.”

“When I was younger, about 24 years ago, I used to go to this church to eat dinner. My family was not well off and this helped us a lot. My mom had 5 children at the time(6 now). But I will never forget how grateful we were for this church. I will also never forget about this elderly man who taught me how to whistle through my hands by cupping my hands together. Thank you for being there for my family. I am forever grateful! ♥️♥️”

“In my experience, WomenVenture goes above and beyond in supporting women-owned businesses. I’ve found lots of insights and resources through them as I’ve grown my mural painting business. Not only do they provide training, they also foster a rich community that brings women business owners together. Classes, conferences, seriously, they do it all. And everyone on their team is so flippin’ nice!”

“Went here for the free skate. The moment my savvy group of gal pals entered, we knew we'd have a great time...and we did! (Not to brag, I didn't fall once. I can't say the same about my gals) The staff and fellow visitors were very friendly. The only issue with this place is the ice was slightly rough. Nothing a good old zamboni can't fix! Heads up, they don't have scissors so keep that in mind! Can't wait to go back again!”

“The renovations are incredible and the facility is bright and clean. But the staff? Oh the staff is incredible. Jessica R took such good care of me when a group or friends went with me to donate for my birthday. And we laughed and will certainly be back again!”

I really like the Paul Welstone quote that is inscribed on the wall of the waiting area. "Politics is about the improvement of people's lives. It's about advancing the cause of peace and justice in our country and the world. Politics is about doing well for the people."”
