I love Burlington but this is store by far has the worst management I have ever seen. They are rude and they always lock their doors one hour before closing time. I get there at 9:05 and the doors are locked and the posting on the door says 10pm this happens all the time even if you get there at 8:30 all the employees follow you around and tells you they are closing. One time I took my 2 yr old there and let her pick her toy and an employee came and just took the toy from her hand and told her she couldn’t touch anything I went and grab the toy again and this employee had the nerves to follow me around and harassed me telling me I better buy what my child touched and she wouldn’t leave me alone she followed me around the store. I reported her to her manager and they didn’t even care.

I am a former employee at this store, they make you clean all day with no breaks. I got fired by a regular employee named Teresha Wright because she lets this rude customer come in almost everyday talking to the employees disrespectful and rude. and I even notified the manager about it the manager Angela seemed to not care about the situation at all. Wasted my time working for these people they even paid $13 an hour with experience while everybody else got paid $15 an hour this place and managers are a joke. I can’t wait to speak to HR.

Store is in shambles. The Lady at the front end with glasses, blonde wig and plastic gloves is completely rude, the aisles are cluttered with merchandise, the restrooms ALWAYS smell like somebody died, and the checkout line is ridiculous. I came in Thursday 5/16/24 and noticed that it was only 1 employee going through pickup up items off the floor and organizing racks. I came back in yesterday 5/18/24 and the store looked the EXACT same. Observing the checkout line, all the cashiers were unpleasant and off putting It was almost like that’s how they were trained to be. The only one that stood out was a Employee named “Leeann”..(the Only person that was putting any effort into organizing and cleaning this junk yard of a store when i came in on Thursday) She was very professional, NICE, HELPFUL, and very ATTENTIVE! When she came over to help checkout, the line started moving faster and you felt a sense of “finally”. Thank you Leeann….she deserves a raise!

Today we witnessed pure professionalism. The clerk at the store “Bobbie” was amazing. She was the only person working, the line was incredibly long, she multi-tasked, de-escalated angry customers, and basically did all the work. This store needs to appreciate employees like her, she is running this entire store by herself. Hats off lady, you’re an amazing asset to this company!! A+++?

Disgusting is the only word I can think of to discribe this store.
The makeup/accessories/beauty area was a disaster. I’m pretty sure there was more broken/stolen stuff strewn on the floor than on the actual shelves. We found used shoes and purses on the ground just laying there. (I’m assuming people stole new stuff and left their old things behind) the household area was just as bad. Stuff laying all over the floor, broken items, garbage laying all over. I saw one worker walking around with a broom and dustpan. You don’t need a broom and a dustpan. You need a dumpster.
The employees at the registers were wearing stained clothing. I’m not sure what the heck is going on with this store but something needs to be done. I have never seen it this bad before.

Yikes... It looked like a tornado went through this store. I spent more time watching where I was going than being able to shop. Many more locations in the Twin Cities that I will choose to go to before i'd ever return back to the Maplewood location.
