I was extremely disappointed by how inept the staff was at handling pets. When your profession requires you to be skilled with providing care to pets, you should be able to adequately administer that care within reasonable means. We had a muzzle on our dog as a precautionary action and they acted as if they could not offer him vaccines or bloodwork because they thought he would be too aggressive. He growled a bit, but never once moved his head to antagonize anyone. They said that they feared he would thrash, which he did not and they refused to even attempt to complete his bloodwork due to this. He's a dog and does not enjoy strangers touching him, which is fairly common. He did not pose any threat or even attempt to behave aggressively despite the "under his breath" growl. They also stated that they could not provide care to our dog if an owner had to hold him in any way. Dogs trust their owners more than anyone, so I'm not sure what kind of rule says that dogs cant be supported by their owners while receiving vaccines and bloodwork. We were charged full price for the all of the services that were requested and they refused to provide all of the services that were part of the "package" just because they are inept to care for and comfort the animals that are receiving services.

Horrible customer service. I have a valid, current prescription for Simperica Trio. I found for less $$ elsewhere. I am now on day12 of waiting for vetco approval - they have a 5 day turn around expectation. I have called numerous times and the company requesting approval has called and faxed multiple times. Each time vetco gives a different rude, condescending answer. Last "advice" I got was to go into a physical store and cause a scene as they will get to my order when they get to it. No wonder you have lost so many customers, add me to the list! You just want to milk people out of more $$.

The check in process, the majority of the staff and the cost were all great! The only thing that really got me is the fact the vet continued to tell me she didn’t like prong collars after she could tell I was visibly uncomfortable. She was genuinely upset my pup was wearing one.We have seen nothing but great success from both of our dogs wearing one. Also our highly skilled trainer recommended them to us.

Don't use Vetco. If you have a problem and you have already paid them, they have no further interest in you or your pet. They get one star from me, only because I am not allowed to post with no stars.

They dont take care of their fish the bettas sit their in cups to die nothing in there for them bettas like a little space with atleast a leaf to lay on like the plastic one alive plants most of the fish plants have pests in them always snails or algae and fungas which can ruin a tank they dont say how common plecos can get to possibly 4 feet but usually 2-3 feet when I see all the dying fish or the ones that go to owners who dont know how to take care of the fish (neither do the owners) I want to help them but I know if I do another poor fish will be in that tank or cup dying and paying for one will promote that inhumane behavior the employees dont know anything about fish they try but really dont know and dont care as long as they get through the day thats why I go to local fish stores now they need quarentine tanks to help them and actually help them not let them die in the backroom how they usually do it at petco and petsmart
