I want to come back and say, the manager I spoke to originally, Trisha, left me a voicemail this morning. I was unfortunately in a meeting and could not answer. But she said she is refunding my admin fee as I had to buy my own lock. I am impressed with this companies effort for customer satisfaction and I am changing my original 3 star review to 5?

I’m generally satisfied with my storage unit rental experience. The facility is clean, easy to access, and the space is exactly what I needed. Customer service has been kind and helpful, including a call from a manger, even though they were based two hours away.

However, I did encounter some confusion regarding the locks. I had purchased the required disk lock (as mentioned in the lease), and called the facility when I realized it didn’t lock the door. I was then informed over the phone by a representative that the facility actually provides its own locks, which are stored inside each unit—but this wasn’t mentioned in the lease, and I wasn’t aware of it until after I’d bought my own lock. When I checked in the unit, there was no lock. I was later instructed by the manager who called me from 2 hours away to take one from another empty unit.

Additionally, I was told I would receive a follow-up call on Monday by the Maple Grove facility manager to ensure everything was properly set up with my unit, but I never received that call.

Despite these issues, the space is great, and I’m overall satisfied with the unit. A little more clarity on the lock situation would go a long way in preventing confusion for customers.”

“I had a great experience with extra space storage at maplegrove. Deb was very helpful and showed me how to do everything, gave me advice, tolerated my noisy , tired kids , and i am moving all my things from public storage to extra space!.”

“I was trying to do everything on line but it wouldn't complete for me. Ryan called me to help me sign up on the phone but the site still didn't let me submit. So I set up a time to meet him and got it all taken care of. Then he showed me to my storage locker and got the keys and how to work the lock. Very helpful and he also got me a locker close to the elevator, less walking for me and my husband with our medical issues.
