I've been a long time customer of REI and have never been let down. I went to the Maple Grove location today and the entire team went above and beyond for myself and my daughter. Lynn helped my daughter find the perfect trail runners after months of searching. Blake was endlessly patient with my bike questions and service requests. Eddie absolutely crushed fitting my daughter with a real multi-day backpack. She can be tricky to please and he was dedicated to finding her the perfect pack. It was an amazing day for the whole team!

Skip this REI! They do not have or cannot find products that the REI website says they have items available for pickup that day and then you drive 2 hours to get there and they don’t have it. This is the second time this has happened with REI Maple Grove!

Great staff! I just wish they ran more deals without so many restrictions on what products fall under the deal. Such as “20% any purchase” excluding about 1/3 of the clothing, apparel or camping products. Otherwise I enjoy coming here and spending my time and money here.

The place was magical, nice camping experience without having to worry about bears getting my food. Feb. 2024 the store is being updated and feels more open

I went here with my Mom. She was looking to buy some Hoka shoes for work. The employee who helped her was very nice and did a good job with answering her questions. Also the employee working the register was nice as well.

REI has a way of making you feel special, like you need this product, giving you super nice staff, with all the knowledge to help you make the best decisions. Plus if you're not satisfied you can return it no questions asked.

This store is a straight up disappointment. It’s so small there’s really no selection and the employees, when they’re not busy socializing, have zero expertise. This store is the epitome of why online shopping is oftentimes superior to brick and mortar locations. This store is pathetic - look elsewhere.

Love the items and store personnel my review would be for the policy of rei. I accidentally bought woman’s pants on sale and tried to even exchange them for the same exact pants but in men’s and since they weren’t on sale that week they wanted me to pay 50 dollars more…I think they are the first store I ever went to that wouldn’t do an even exchange so they lost 105+ dollars I will go buy them at scheels Moosejaw Cabelas or another outdoor store that wants to accept my money
