I'd give less if I could. Ian is the only good thing about this branch. Brought an elderly family member in as they were continuously having problem with a rude banker. Banker would refuse to help her without an appointment when the branch was visibly empty...seriously 2 tellers a banker and a manager and not a single customer. I witnessed on two occasions how this woman spoke to my family and we pulled the accounts. I did chat with the Branch Manager but I honestly don't think anything will be done about this banker. Ian, you deserve to work for a branch that will support your same energy.

I have been with BMO for a few years now, and it actually has customer service. I came to this location to get a new debit card and to make a deposit. After seeing the teller, I worked with a banker to get my new card. I believe I was in the branch for about 10 minutes, at most. There has not been a negative experience in branch or on the phone with BMO. They value me as a customer and work hard to ensure that any issues are quickly resolved and questions are thoroughly answered. I typically only use their online services, so it's nice to see that in-person services are just as friendly and effective.

This company is awful. No one can answer my questions when you call into the 1-800 number and you get passed from one person to the next. I've wasted so much time trying to get my simple questions answered.

Your teller Ian was the nicest, friendliest people I have ever had help me! My husband jokingly told him I wanted a lollipop, and he smiled and gave us lollipops. We just moved to this area, and the Maple Grove BMO is where we are going to do our banking!

This branch has horrible customer service rude lazy could care less about you or your finances! I had been with BMO for seven years possibly more and had a previous issue at this branch a few years back! obviously nothing has changed I ended up going to a different branch to solve the issue! That started with this branch and it was solved within a few hours! I felt totally discriminated against! Very disgusting read the other review of being discriminated at this branch true 100%! This must be a on going tradition at this branch! Take your money else where. A few disgusting apples definitely ruin the bunch there’s no time and place for this kind of treatment anywhere!

I went there Tuesday, January 19th to cash a sizeable check and was basically "profiled" and discriminated against by a teller and her manager...No effort was made by either woman to verify the check or even help me open an account...They said their policy was they can't cash checks over 3K and suggested I deposit through family, friend, or relative...Thereby signing a check to said third party and then they would transfer it to me. Yes, I understand liabilities with checks, but this branch made absolutely no effort what so ever to verify it. I even respectfully asked (with all my valid IDs on hand, of which they never looked at) if they can make an exception but to no avail. I even went in twice hoping for a different outcome. After leaving disappointed, embarrassed, and frustrated, I decided to call a different branch in Minneapolis to see if they could help. Sure enough, the East Lake location was able to cash my check and assisted me wonderfully with no issue at all. They took the necessary steps to verify the check, my identity, and made me feel welcomed and appreciated. Apparently check cashing is at the discretion of branch managers, which clearly the Maple Grove one discriminates against "certain people..." Bottom line, no effort at all made by the employee or branch manager to help me out. Thanks for nothing Maple Grove BMO Harris Bank.I will not be returning to that location at all, nor do I recommend any person of color to do banking here--if they can help it. Discriminatory practices like this are not new to hard-working people of color like myself. Hopefully, this branch figures it out and someone of significance there sees this and can and make change.

I had a silly request that I needed help with. Linda went above and beyond to get me the answer I was looking for. Thanks for the great service.

I'm a business manager of a power sports dealer. BMO Harris corporate is one of the most awful companies I've had to deal with as a finance person. I was transferred, promised calls back and given the runaround by multiple people trying to fix a mistake that they had made. I finally gave up and called a branch so I could have some consistency and not have to deal with 30 layers of automated phone systems. I was transferred directly to their branch manager, Felipe, and within a few hours he had my issue resolved and taken care of. BMO Harris corporate = F... Felipe and this branch = A+++! Even though it wasn't Felipe's problem or mistake, his follow-through and service was first-class.
