But she has no cuts and she was fine! Staff was accommodating when I needed to reschedule. They were really nice and talked me through the options for her with no pressure to do higher cost options. Minnesota Valley Pet Hospital
1541 Adams St, MankatoWe unfortunately lost our sweet dog Roxy the other day but Minnesota Valley Pet Hospital was a blessing for us. Losing our sweet girl was completely unexpected and she was not going to make it to her usual vet out of town. I had called around to other places and they referred us to emergency clinics in the Twin Cities. As we started our drive there, Roxy started to decline fast and we knew she was passing. We knew she wasn't going to make it to either the emergency vet or to her usual clinic out of town.
We decided to stop at MVPH as we knew Roxy's time was near and we just needed to make her comfortable. Unfortunately, she passed away in the car just as we arrived. That didn't stop the staff from being so extremely kind and gracious to us. Although we aren't patients here, they still treated us with kindness, compassion, and didn't hesitate to help us when we were grieving our girl. I wish I could remember the name of the girl who helped me at the front desk. She was so kind and helped us get Roxy out of our car and into the room where we were able to comfortably spend time with her and say our goodbyes. We didn't feel rushed. We kept apologizing for coming in and being so distraught and not even being patients of theirs but everyone was just so kind. While we will miss Roxy with our whole hearts, MVPH helped us say our goodbyes and made us feel very taken care of.
Edited to add that I understand that they do not provide immediate emergency services at their location. We were desperate and needed a place to either utilize euthanasia or in this case have a place to help us say our goodbyes after she passed in the car.

She is so thoughtful when it comes to making them holiday bandanas or giving out special treats. I would definitely recommend going to Pecto for grooming!

Didn’t realize until then that they ran out of a lot of fruit teas and fruit drinks so we could only get strawberry fruit drinks. Beautiful indoor backdrop for pictures! Staff was knowledgeable and kind. If you want to order, only option is a kiosk but doesn’t seem like they can program when they are out of certain things.
Parking: Sitting across campus and other restaurants/eateries (Chipotle, Asian Wok, crumbl cookies), bank, and a liquor store, so it can grt busy!

Pheasant Dr, MankatoI picked up my puppy from SMP in May and it has truly been a joy watching my little guy grow and learn. Kristen isn’t just a breeder she is someone who is truly passionate about Pomskies and wants to share the joy of this relatively new breed with as many people as she can. It doesn’t just show in the care and attention she is clearly giving to these pups but also in the effort she has made to create a network of Pomsky lovers from the very people who have purchased puppies from her. You are never left to figure out things from the internet, on your own, or from other people who claim to know dogs and try to categorize this breed based on what they think they know about it.As for my experience with the breed itself, I can tell from interacting with my pup that this breed is very loving to their person and quite smart. He gets along well with my cats, other dogs, and even children. He is at times reserved and cautious of other adults but warms up to them if they are nice. Although they do shed as much as you would expect from a double coat I have found myself getting in to a routine that works for me to the point where I don’t even mind it. The super soft and lush coat is absolutely worth all the vacuuming.
