Hours: Minnesota Valley Action Council, Inc. (MVAC) is a community action agency that has served the people of south central Minnesota since 1965. MVAC offers affordable housing, transportation, employment, training for employment and educational opportunities for children across Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, Le Sueur, Martin, Nicollet, Sibley, Waseca and Watonwan counties. Visitors find the staff friendly, courteous and truly care about them, describing the experience as a God Send. The thrift shop has a large selection of kitchen items, decor, books, shoes, toys, sports stuff, and name brands, and customers can try items on in the dressing room to see if it’s the right fit. Donating a used vehicle is easy and straightforward, with helpful staff ready to assist.
