“2023-Since my previous experience was fabulous, I returned to Slumberland in May 2023, as I had just purchased a larger home. Ryan was fantastic with assisting me in choosing items and with setting up delivery (which to my surprise was quite reasonable).

However, delivery was not to be attempted until many months later (September 2023), due to a wet basement issue. Ryan, Chris, and Marty (manager) were incredibly patient and understanding with rescheduling.

Fast forward to after basement issue (thought) was addressed, delivery takes place, only the delivery folks were not exactly the best, as they denied delivering the sofa to the basement, citing issues with the opening, please note however that previous larger items had been delivered. In any case, the delivery staff/side of things have nothing to do with the service I received at Mankato Slumberland. The delivery staff brought the sofa back to the warehouse, to await for further instructions from myself and/or Marty.

Fast forward to January 2024, sewer pipe issue-unable to schedule for delivery, then to the flooding season of 2024 (June through July), resulting in the entire basement being torn out and remodeled, which fine/great, only that sofa was still sitting in the warehouse-taking up space!

Phoned Marty and explained the continued issues, and let me say this much, Marty is a credit to Slumberland team! He was incredibly understanding and patient (again). Marty went ahead and credited back my funds, no questions asked.

Because of the phenomenal and kind service I have received, once the basement has been completed, I will return to Slumberland Mankato to make my furniture purchases. And most likely not just for the now refinished basement, but for the rest of the house as well going forward.

Ashley took care of us from beginning to the very happy end. She went above & beyond any sales associate we have ever dealt with. She was polite, courteous & just a very nice person.
