I was very impressed with Mankato movers communication from the start; it was prompt and detailed. They even made it work to switch my move day a week earlier with just a few days notice.
If you get the opportunity to work with Michael, he is the star of the show. Very hard worker, kind and meticulous. He is a great crew member.
There were a few hiccups, but when I addressed this with Kerry afterwards, he was incredibly understanding and made me feel heard. We were able to come to an agreement. It’s important to remember we are human, and the way a company handles issues speaks volumes. I would hire them again.

Movers were great to be around, very careful, and professional but the rates are stupid high. It's $115/hr per person normally plus time and a half if you schedule your move on a weekend which they don't tell you up front. Those are electrician or engineering rates; not sure what management is on but I want some. Total cost to move a 1 bedroom apartment five blocks with everything boxed up was $1,100.

Please be aware of hidden costs. I just moved from one apartment in Faribault to another in Owatonna for almost 900 dollars because they charge for driving fees. What I didn’t realize was that they charge for both ways. I had moved most of my things myself but needed help with big furniture. It only took 30minutes to move out and little more than an hour to move in. The movers were great themselves although some of my furniture did get scratched. They had to use the stairs because of broken elevator so I did tip well. However in such place that charges hourly, charging for both ways seem very overpriced. I paid doubled just because of driving time. Perhaps this is what all movers do and I should have been better prepared. I am still in the state of shock from the price tag and having difficulty recovering so I am leaving this comment for others to be aware.

We had Nate, Darrel, Treon, Jarred, Mike, and Kevin move us. They were awesome! They were great to spend the day with! Great attitudes, awesome work ethic, and organized! 5 stars, we would hire them again and we will certainly be referring others to them!

This company moved us from Mankato to Alexandria, MN. They packed up the entire house in one day and the next it was delivered by noon. They professionally wrapped and packed every item we asked them to. For pricing it was around 5k to move a 2000 Sq ft home in two moving trucks. They charge by the person loading, about 75 per person per hour. If you pack your stuff up into boxes for them it will be very fast. Took about 4 hours to load and 2.5 to unload.Highly recommended if you live in that area and need help moving quickly and efficiently.
