Everyone who knows this little spot, knows that they don't have many spots for parking. I just happened to pull in with my company vehicle, on one of those days where every spot was taken when I pulled in. So I did what I normally hate doing, which is, pull in at one of the gas pumps. I pulled up to the furthest one, in order to give other paying customers, access to every other pump. I go in to buy some drinks and was ignored for the first 30 seconds at the register. It looked liked the lady was busy voiding out a previous order or perhaps doing some other store related paperwork. Once I was acknowledged, she rang up my drinks, gave me my total and stated the following: "You would think, being a company, you wouldn't park at one of the pumps". Wondering if I heard her correctly, I responded, "I'm sorry?". She repeated herself, adding that the pumps were for paying customers, possibly displeased with the measly $4.30 that I had charged on my credit card. I said, "Every spot was taken in the lot", which was true at the time that I pulled in. She looked into the parking lot and noticed the now empty spot up front and said, "No, they are not". I told her that they were taken when I pulled in and she only responded with, "No". I just walked out shaking my head. I'm sorry if you're having a bad day but I was having a great day, up until that point and it was kind of a mood killer. I understand that you can't spend every waking moment in happiness but treating your customers like that is a no-no, in my book. Won't be going back there. Rude.
