DeGrood’s Appliance does not take responsibility for any damage made during delivery. After the fact Maggie Rosier-Degrood informed me of a 48 hour buffer time for customers to report aproblem, and falsely stated this notice is on the bottom of orders, it is not on any of my orders. I also reported the damage before they delivered all my appliances.They also changed deliverydates 3 times making my deliveries over 2 weeks late. The delivery men do not clean up their mess after drilling holes. Two of my appliances were never even checked out before they left. Iwould not recommend DeGrood’s if you want good customer care, because it does not exist. Response to Maggie Rosier-Degrood post: First of all it is not just a scratch, it is 3 scratches on 2 cabinets. I did give a reason why I knew it was from bringing the refrigerator. The crew had to remove the door handles from the cabinets because there was only 1/4 inch clearance to get the refrigerator in the house and past the cabinets. The crew did make the comment that it was a difficult delivery. The scratches were not noticed that day because of the lighting. Once the lights were turned on is when my nephew saw the scratches.The only other person there was the cabinet contractor and he left before DeGrood's crew brought the refrigerator in. I did not have any HVAC contractors. The only mention of 48 hours on the bottom of my Quote is that prices are subject to price adjustments and a 15% restocking fee. Calling your customers a bad apple and insinuating I am being dishonest, just because I expected good service is uncalled for. I am not the only one that has had problems with your company as you can see from other reviews. I just wish I had read them before giving you my business.

Degroods installed our new Bosch dishwasher last week. The installer was quick, professional and did a great job with the install. We've done business with DeGroods for years and have always been satisfied with them. I'd have no problem buying from them again. I have the option of going to Best Buy but I've had negative experiences with them.

Josh and Ken stopped by to drop off our new wash machine. Little did they know, i asked them to see if they could help me get my dryer vent back on, and they were more than willing to help. They had a heck of a time trying to get that back on, but after a while they got it fixed. I was so happy for their help, and i had no idea it would be a struggle, no way would I have gotten that! I was very thankful for them and their great service! We had a great experience in store also with Erik, but Josh and Ken definitely went above and beyond. Thank you guys, highly recommend, we will definitely be back and promote your business!

Great products and great sales! The best kept secret is THEIR DELIVERY SERVICE!!! JOSH AND KENT WENT WAY ABOVE THEIR WAY TO GET OUR PRODUCTS INTO OUR NARROW DOOR WAYS! NOT HAPPENING AT THE BIG BOXED STORES..THANKS AGAIN GUYS!

Had a wonderful experience shopping for a washing machine, Erik was great at answering all of our questions and comparing the machines we were interested in…he didn’t try to push us out of our price range and was very easy to talk too. Will definitely shop at DeGrood’s again in the future!

How refreshing to call a store, and someone actually answers right away. Doubly when they spend time with you answering all your questions with patience.That got us in the door.We stayed because we were helped immediately and weren't given the hard sell. Just plain honesty about what we were looking for.How many stores can you go into nowadays and find that they don't even carry 2 brands because those particular brands are actually junk? For the average consumer, you rely on professionals, which is why we will never shoo big box stores again.DeGroods is our only appliance store now, their professionalism, and honesty got us exactly what we needed, and even though we weren't shopping at the moment for an oven, we saw one we liked and bought it too. They even looked at their competitors price for us, and they were cheaper than the box stores. Thank you for a truly painless experience, we'll be back!

Our less than 2 yr old LG refrigerator died and we noticed that a lot of places had very little to no inventory. We first called to see if they had any and our call was answered right away and they were very helpful. We decided to make the drive over and I'm so glad we did. We were greeted promptly and we told them our predicament, we needed a new fridge that day. We also said we absolutely did not want another LG (look up their class action lawsuit) How refreshing to be told they don't sell LG or Samsung because of the multiple issues with the brands. That's real integrity. After seeing our multiple choices and weighing options, we made our decision and couldn't be happier with our new fridge! And, even though we didn't really need it t that moment we decided to replace our aging stove as well. Our salesman even looked up the big box store prices and their price for the stove was almost $200 cheaper than Best Buy. We will never shop at the big box stores again, and why would anyone? If a family, locally owned store can beat the price, why give more to the corporate greed and the headaches of dealing with non local repairman if something goes wrong? Wish we would have looked at DeGroods before throwing away 2k on a refrigerator.

Horrible customer service. Went in to look at appliances and happened to ask about an outdoor set and the guy was less than pleasant. Just told us it’s not for sale and walked away without even letting us ask any questions about the washer and dryer we were after. We went across the street and purchased a set from Home Depot. Not personable at all. We won’t return.

I spent over $2000 on a new fridge only to have it dented and scratched by their delivery people. It's been months and they still haven't come to fix it. The guy came with paint that didn't match so he scratched off more paint to get a sample and I've never heard back from them. So now the scratch is even more noticeable. I will never do business with this company again. It's so funny that when my husband and I went in there to look around. One of the workers was talking about how much they care that their customers are satisfied and if you go somewhere like Best Buy or Home Depot, if they damage your product then you're still stuck with it. (Which is not true) seems like it's the other way around. You pay a bunch of money for a fridge for your new house and it gets damaged, the workers also damaged/scratched my new floor, and broke one of my solar lights in my driveway. Degrood's has been nothing but a nightmare. Go do business somewhere else.

I extremely disappointed with Degrood's in Mankato, MN. I brought a new washer and dryer set from them in September 2020. The dryer( less than 6 months old) quit working four weeks ago. I have have to call them weekly to check on parts for the repair and I keep getting a runaround on when they with arrive. I'm still waiting for them to call me back and for the dryer to be repaired or replaced.
