I got pierced exactly a week ago and wasn’t pierced with a long enough bar. The earring went inside of my ear and was very tight and uncomfortable. I went in to voice my concern and had to pay for 2 new earrings which were pretty expensive. I wish they would have pierced me with a bigger bar or replaced the earrings I was pierced with free of charge since it was out of my control,

Ridiculous place of business! Twice I wasted my time driving over to this place. The first time I went there they didn’t have a piercer. You had one job! Have a piercer at a body piercing place. I was told to come back two days later because there would be a piercer. So I called two days later to make sure there was a piercer and they said yes and that they’d have time. So I hopped in my vehicle and drove over there only to find out their slots just magically filled up and their piercer wouldn’t have time even though there were very clearly two spots open yet on their piece of paper they fill their slots in on. NEVER AGAIN! I made an appt at Cactus where I know I will get in and be able to get a piercing instead of wasting 2 hours of my life driving for nothing.

I had a piece of nose jewelry lodged in skin that had already healed, the piercers were so helpful in taking it out: walking me through every step and reassuring that I'd be ok. I will 100% be back, and am so thankful that I came here.

DO NOT GO HERE.They swear up and down their jewelry is real. Then explain to me why my studs and my nose where my piercing is has turned green? Wack.If you want the same jewelry for cheaper there’s a Hot Topic and a Spencer’s right across from them.

My daughter and I went in for a nose piercing. She also got her navel pierced. The establishment is professional and clean! The piercer, keelee, was amazing. She was kind and funny which helped a lot with how nervous we were.Services: Ear piercing

The employees are very rude and not Helpfull at all. I went in there to get piercing and they told me they don’t have someone that can do it till next week with attitude.DO BETTER ??

I've gone here twice to get piercings and have had a great experience both times. The first time I went was for my nose piercing and the last time I went I got a conch and tragus piercing done. I was a bit nervous to be getting both done at the same time but my piercer Keelee made me feel comfortable and calm. I'm super happy with how all my piercings have turned out and will definitely be going back for any other ones I get. They also do a good job of welcoming you back to change out jewelry and give you time to make decisions.

I worked for this company for 4 years. Recently this location's entire local staff has walked out due to consistent workplace discrimination and abuse occurring over a very long period of time. They sell and pierce with low-quality jewelry, offer outdated aftercare, and teach unethical piercing techniques and training practices; one example being that they do not tell their customers if their piercer is a training technician or fully licensed, nor do they give any kind of discount to the customer if their piercer is a training tech. I have seen this management team repeatedly disregard the safety of their employees and customers while instead prioritizing their profit firsthand. Their business model is built around hiring mainly young adults looking to enter the body art industry, and as a result do not know what red flags to look for, training them in as a piercer as fast as possible, and then having them perform as many piercings as possible in a day. Look at their Indeed employee reviews. Do not work here. Do not get pierced here. Do not shop here.

I got my nose pierced here over a year ago and had no problems! Staff was super friendly and did a really good job! I just went back recently to get a new ring put in and the girls in there were so nice and welcoming! They make the whole experience fun and less nerve racking and are very good at their jobs! Just read the Facebook post a previous employee shared about the dark practices of this place.They will be hiring a completely new staff because their old staff quit due to the working conditions.These people don't care how you get your piercing done or why you want it done, they just want your money.Stay far far away.

3 strikes and you are out. Tried 3 times to get piercings done here. I get being short staffed however to not be open even when we confirmed you would be open and have a piercer in. Don't waste your time even trying to get pierced here - call Catcus Tattoo and Body Piercing. They will make an appointment for you - no guessing if you will get in after traveling to the location. Yes you will pay a little more and they don't have the BOGO deals but there is no guessing if you will get pierced.

I had a wonderful experience getting pierced yesterday! Initially I was a little worried about being able to since there were a lot of people but I managed to get sorted pretty quickly! I got both my lip and my cartilage pierced and I cannot recommend this place enough!I’m a very anxious person and tend to get very jittery. The piercer who helped me was incredibly kind and joked with me while they were getting ready before the piercings. It definitely helped ease my nerves. Both piercings were done quickly and with minimal pain. Honestly I thought they were joking around when they said my lip was done.It’s clean and sanitary and I have mad respect for places and piercers that account for anatomy before doing piercings so that’s another plus!! (I had wanted an industrial but was told that that was probably not doable due to my ear anatomy).Service: Ear piercing

In terms of piercing procedure, this place does just fine. I got my septum pierced recently and my nostril pierced some months ago, and both times it was quick and painless. I had the same piercer both times (Casper) and they were awesome. If you go to the River Hills Mall location, hope that they’re working that day. However, management really needs to be put together better. Most recently I went to Almost Famous on a Saturday when it opens at 10 AM. I was there around 11, and the people working there told me that the piercer wouldn’t be in until 12:30-ish. They also said that other people were already in line to get piercings, so I’d have to wait until 12:45-ish. This is fine, but advertising that you’re open at 10 and then not being available until 12:30 is frustrating. There were times when at least two workers were just standing around, not doing anything, inside the store within the time I was waiting. Ultimately, if you’re going to claim that you’re open at 10 AM, you should be service-ready at 10 AM. Almost Famous is a decent place to get piercings done, but be willing to deal with obstacles if you go.Service: Nose piercing

This place is horrible!! I took my teenage daughter in to by an earring for a 2nd piercing in one of her ears. We wanted an earring to match the one she already had in the opposite ear. We explained what we were trying to do to the lady working, asked for her assitance in opening the earring case and even asked her opinion for the final selection. After choosing, we headed to the cash register where the employee proceded to ring up the 1 earring I was purchasing. I asked if they did the piercing same day and she said yes. I paid, she handed me the bag with the earring in it and I asked, do we need to make an appointment to have her ear pierced or what. Response - "Oh, you want HER ear pierced today!? I stated yes. She proceeded to tell me that in order to have her ear pierced, both my daughter and I would need to have a photo ID. I stated she was only 13 and didn't have an ID. Response was "well, that's the law". So I then I stated that I wanted to return the earring I just purchased becasue it was of no use to me at this point. Her response was the store had a No Return policy. I asked to speak to a manager, and a person who had been standing there listening to this entire conversation steps forward and says she was the manager. There was nothing she could do for me. The law is the law and it states right on the counter that they have a no return policy. When I asked for more information to contact the corporate office, she told me she wasn't giving me any information and that I should leave. I did. I still have the earring my daughter purchased with saved up money that can't be used because no other piercing parlor will use jewlery from another piercing place. So beware! They are in the business of ripping people and kids off!
