I’ll add my experience to the litany of good reviews for Auto Edge. My 2013 911, out of the blue, presented a number of PDK transmission errors. I had it towed to Auto Edge, knowing that any Porsche dealer would replace the entire PDK at a cost north of $20,000. Auto Edge was willing to do a repair which few shops would undertake, and they did a great job of replacing the speed and distance sensors inside the PDK, for about a third of what an entire replacement transmission would have cost (parts, labor, fluids, and alignment, all in), plus a couple additional bullet-proofing additions.
No, it wasn’t cheap. But the communication was great throughout, the work was done right, and it beat the heck out of the alternative.

$280 for an oil change.. I chose a different local shop and ended up paying $125. Of the five locations I called this was absolutely absurdly the most expensive even $80 more than the dealership.

Auto Edge is and has been my go-to for all things Porsche and for any other automotive issue. They are incredibly knowledgable, technically gifted and provide great service. Currently I'm at Brainerd International Raceway with my Porsche Cayman to drive on the track with the Porsche Club of America. I'm so thankful that Dan, Nick and John are here with all of their expertise and willingness to jump in and help. My car had an issue as soon as I arrived, and they were right there to immediately diagnose it. When something else came up later, they quickly figured that out and got it fixed as well. without them here I'd be back home already. Having this wonderful service at the track in Brainerd is key to allowing many drivers to enjoy their cars and keep them in tip top and safe shape for being on the road and the track.

This place is amazing and the mechanics are extremely knowledgeable. You can tell it’s much than a job for them. They are true car enthusiasts- deeply passionate about automobiles, and the art of design and engineering. This is palpable when you talk to them about your car.
More importantly they demonstrate a lot of integrity- in persuading me that I didn’t need some work done that l had assumed I did. They also provided several recommendations for auto work that was a bit outside of their scope. Definitely the best experience I’ve had at an auto shop, and it’s inspiring to see people whose passions and vocation align so well!

My Q5 threw an engine code right before our vacation. Auto Edge quickly identified the issue and shuffled their schedule to fit me in. The tech skipped lunch to replace the bad sensor within hours. I had no such expectations and figured I’d have to rent, but now we’ll take the Q5. Grateful.

IRRESPONSIBLE AND RIP OFF!!!!
I called them to see if they can change my car steering wheel. On April 3 I drop my car to install custom steering wheel then they broke my air clock spring. Chris called me if I want to order or want them to order and I had no idea he gonna make me pay for it( the clock spring that they broke ) and had never mentioned that I have to pay for it( as professional they should take responsibility for what they have done) I said “okay order it “ then the total comes around $1300 and they gave me a bill and I try to talk to them but they are very tricky . Only for labor about $700 there guy are crazy . First time and last time ever and they kept my car almost two weeks. SHAME ON YOU GUYS!!!!
