“I recently dropped my debit card on the ground while fueling. Called the store right away and asked if anyone turned one in, but they said they hadn't seen it. Not long after, they did find it and Missy went through the effort of finding my Facebook profile and sent me a message letting me know she found it. This speaks to their honesty and sincerity, and it meant a lot to me. But I appreciate the store and the good, honest people that work there.”

“Ok, before I start, I enjoy their food a lot, but their Easter bunch was not planned well. We went around 11:30 there was a lack of food and a struggle to get food restocked. MY first round of food. No breakfast item. The 2nd time, there were more items, but not all items were there.Just a couple of issues. When you do a buffet, there should be no walk-ins!!!!For the first time. I give a 3. I hope they learn about their issues and make it right next time. Wouldn't mind seeing that.”

“We popped in for breakfast sandwiches. I was very pleasantly surprised to find out by taste that this was a homemade breakfast burrito! Very tasty! I will go back for another for sure. The hubby enjoyed his croissant sandwich, too. Even bragged to my son in law. Lol.”

“Sara and the team she has in the deli are amazing. They had our food to us in a short time and was just as we wanted. The perfect place for breakfast, filling, and reasonably priced.”

“Always good pricing however the changes they made at the pump in regards to a printed receipt is ridiculous, ask in the beginning not at the end and the time for transaction is slower then ever before.”

“Great crew working tonight! My only piece of advice would be to either audit the sale and promo signs in the store OR honor the sale price that’s on the sale sign, even if it’s expired. I didn’t need 2 bags of Chex mix muddy buddies but the sale said 2 for $4. Unfortunately… or maybe fortunately? The sale was expired and they didn’t honor the sale price.Still great service and very friendly, would recommend!”

““Martin” (as the name tag said) was extremely polite and outgoing. I purchased some minnows the other morning and he gave me some tips for what lakes to go to around here. I ended up having great luck that day and I give credit to Martin. I will definitely stop in to catch up with him but in the mean timeI would love if this could get back to him.”

“These days, "cheap gas" is an oxymoron. But at least in parts of the Midwest, ethanol blends reduce the pain a little bit, to the point that premium unleaded is cheaper than regular. And when my Dad owned an operated a gas station in Iowa (Brink Oil Company - Estherville Iowa) growing up, 35 cents a gallon (or gas war pricing at 19 cents) was a clear memory. Question: Why is gasoline still priced with 9/10 of a cent added on? I share my Dad's love of driving and tend to fill up at the last minute. My friend Bob Merrill reminds me of the time that we ran out just a few miles short of Fairmont MN, but my favorite memory was gliding in an Omaha-area gas station just as the fuel-staved engine cut out. Gayle won't put up with that nonsense, so I'm usually looking to fill up when the needle drifts a little below half. On our recent trip back to the Twin Cities (from Spirit Lake), I chose this Speedway because it was time, and my current bias is that larger independent chains (like Speedway, Maverick, or Kwik Star) might be cheaper or at least have clean restrooms and nice selections at their Mini-Mart. And this Speedway delivered on all cylinders. In this case, it also turned out that the next gas station down the road (or at least visible from the highway) was at least a few miles away. Maybe something cheaper would have come up, but in the end, a gas station is basically a gas station, especially when they're open when you need them. I may be charging up my next car (here or elsewhere), but for legacy reasons alone, these places will be around a good deal longer.”

“Everyone has always been so kind and friendly whenever I go in at random times during the day! I know this place is usually where I get my gas as I don’t work in Mankato and earn gas points at the senior living facility! The pizza is always delicious and hot and when we had salads years ago before seeing my deceased grandma they were scrumptious!Parking: Sometimes if I’m just going for a couple minutes I have parked in front of the dumpster and nobody has ever said anything!”
