The shop smells musty, like a basement. I didn't find much I wanted to purchase. Which was good because unless you're spending more than $20 they won't run your card. Do not recommend.

Stopped at this shop as part of the 2020 Quilt MN Shop Hop. It appears deceptively small from the outside, but is the building is quite deep. Fabric is located in 6 different rooms and there’s a nice selection from which to choose. Cash or check is appreciated if your purchase is under $20. I was told all fabric is available on their website, but you need to call the shop to order it. Very friendly and helpful staff!

Do not by products from quilting by the hearth. Not only did she not do an iron test on her elastic, but she asked me to ship the product back so she can refund me and is now claiming that I didn't send her the product that she shipped me. She stole my money and got the product back so she can re sell it to another unsuspecting person.Updated to her response:Quilting by The Hearth so I'm not going to sit here and argue with you. I have bought plenty of elastic from other sources and you can set your iron on it plain as day and leave it there. You stated on the phone that you did an iron test but clearly stated in your messages that you did not place your iron on it and that when you did it did the same. Don't worry I already got my money back including the shipping because I disputed the charge. You lied to me several times during this whole thing and that reflects poorly on you as a quilt store. I can't imagine the other people who you have done this that won't stand up for themselves. After you made claims that what I sent you wasn't what you sent me this conversation was over. You should be ashamed of yourself.

does not stand behind their products they sell. I bought 80 dollars worth of elastic and now she is claiming what I sent back isn't what she sent me. so not only does she have my money but she actually has the product back as well. DO NOT BY ELASTIC FROM HERE. it just melts and gets brittle.

This shop was like finding a treasure! When finding supplies for making face masks became extinct, I decided to try calling on some of the local shops and found this gem! Lisa went out of her way to get me the items I needed and was the most pleasant person to talk to! During the current pandemic she is making accommodations to meet your needs! Please check her store out and get in touch with her, you will not be disappointed!
