Was charged $125/hour and took over a month to fix the outboard motor. Do not know the rates for small engine repairs but seems little extreme. $500 in labor for 4 hours.

Mike’s does great work at reasonable prices. Cheaper than most in the area. You should give them a call when your boat needs work. They’ll take good care of your boat like they’ve done mine every time I’ve had them work on it.

I brought my older pontoon in about a month ago to have the motor looked at. There was some leak in the lower unit. Not only did it take a month to fix, it cost over $1000! $500 of that was labor. I am very disappointed and will be looking for another mechanic. Mike is a nice guy but this is just too much.

Nothing but great things to say about Mike and his shop. I initially brought my boat and motor for Mike to help diagnose why my outboard was running rough. He determined the issue ordered some very hard to find parts for my motor. Fixed the issue and runs beautifully. Also during this time frame I had my alternator go out on my Honda pilot. Me being from our of town from this area I didn't know what else to do but ask him to help me out. He got me back up and running the very next day. I also need to express that the rates are very reasonable also. Thanks Mike!!!
