“Really happy place! Found some plants I had been looking for for a while, and at a good price (on sale). Plus they have unique pots that are made from rice hulls! Staff was super friendly and understanding of gardening/plant obsessions.”

Together, we worked for a few hours separating plants, trimming plants, and repotting plants until all the work was done! It’s hard to find a service like this And it was a joy to work together. “We have a 28 year old lawn mower that would not start. I did what I could but I'm not a small engine guy. I brought it in and expected it to take a couple of weeks if it was even repairable (for our own reasons we wanted to get a few more years out of it). They gave me a reasonable price to diagnose it, and called with options the day I brought it in. I called back next morning with our decision, and four hours later it was done. I picked it up and when I got it home it started on the first pull! They had the machine for 31 hours. Very happy. I will go back.”

“This place is really great. The selection of pots, planters, and anything to make your plants adorable is here. They really do a fantastic job in stocking anesthetics. This is the only nursery I've seen terracotta planters glazed in cute colors w drainage. The selection of plants in the little green house surpasses most larger nurseries.”

“I have been going to Pletscher's since I was in high school when I bought my boyfriend a boutonniere for prom. My parents always bought all of the perennials and their vegetable plants there because their prices were so great. Whenever I have a problem with something growing in my yard, they always take their time and give me great advice. I love that it is a family owned business and I hope they stay in business forever!!”

They're plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees are high-quality and the best they have to offer. I have been a loyal customer for 8 years. “They always have what I need. This time it was furnace filters and indoor florescent lights, along with service people who refuse to let me buy "wrong." I might pay a tad bit more, but I'm only making one trip, and that's because they make sure I head to the register with the right item. Jim always steers me right and does it with a smile. “Very nice Bachman's. Staff is always helpful and while often times an employee or two isn't knowledgeable, they are always able to find someone who is. I wish they had more native plants, trees and shrubs and more plants that are confirmed to be pesticide free. Remember to ask when you buy so you know if your plant is supporting wildlife or unintentionally endangering it.”

“In trying to find fence panels, one employee said they don't sell them. Asked a second person who looked up exactly what we needed. Most employees say hi as we walked through store, but didn't offer to help. Got the answers we needed (eventually) and at least employees are cordial.”

“Even though there's a Walmart that's close to where I live ( I live in Robbinsdale so the closest is in Brooklyn Center and after that in Brooklyn Park) but I make a special trip to this one in Roseville , because it carries special foods like Organic Black Bean Spaghetti (pictured), pink Himalayan salt, etc. The Black Bean spaghetti is super low carb and super yummy and my favorite! I can buy things here cheaper than at Whole Foods and I love the layout and things are so easy to find. LOVE!”

“I got a small amount of rocks for a landscaping project that I am doing at my home. This is my first time at Fra-Dor and the people I interacted with on the phone and at the site were very nice and accommodating, easy to work with to help me get what I needed, and very fair with the price.
It seems like the garden centers/brick yards that I have used in the past always try to stick it to the DIY’ers who aren’t buying in bulk and make you feel like a nuisance. I will be back the next time I need something and will recommend them to anyone that asks.
