Born and lived in Lebanon until 34 years old and I can easily say this is the best Lebanese food I've had outside of Lebanon. The food is amazing, the falafel is so good, everything is fresh and tasty.

I lived in Beirut for 3 years and this is the best Lebanese food in the Twin Cities! I’ve had several things on the menu - all of it is excellent. Esp love the beef shawarma sandwich. The toom (garlic sauce) is sooo good !!!

I stopped in to do a service for the gas station today and as I drove up I saw their sign for sandwiches. It was a little past lunch and I was a bit hungry after completing my service of the gas station I just couldn't help myself I had to try something. I got a steak Shawarma it was amazing the meat was super flavorful and all the veggies in it were nice and fresh I'd definitely recommend you try this place out if you're thinking about. This was the first time I've have had a Shawarma I've have had a ton of gyros that the only thing I could somewhat compare to this but the Shawarma is like a gyro on steroids much better. The staff was super friendly and helpful in helping me pick out what to get for my first time. If I didn't live so far I'd probably be in once a week but that won't stop me from making special trips in the future to try out more of their food. Thanks Ed and everyone else working there keep up the great work.

This place is a hidden gem. Located in the city of Lauderdale in the back of a convince store, is the best little Lebanese deli ever. Ed is so gracious and often ready to give out a free sample for you to experience his culinary cuisine.
Parking: Small parking lot

I love it when a convenience store contains a full service deli. The Super USA on Larpenteur Ave near 280 contains Ed's Deli. A Middle Eastern deli that has some really good stuff! I got a made-to-order meat pie and it was FANTASTIC. Ground meat with red onion, fresh tomato and spices. A lemon wedge to squeeze over everything. But the best part was the crust! Oh man! They rolled out the dough by hand just prior to putting it in the oven. As good as the best Italian style pizza crust. Really frickin' good. And here's the kicker, folks: SIX BUCKS! Yes, you read that correctly. That meat pie costs $6. A sit down restaurant could easily charge double that for the exact same dish. The old Middle Eastern guy who made it for me (Ed perhaps?) said "The meat ... it is fresh! Everything is fresh! Squeeze the lemon over it all. You will enjoy!" And sure enough, I did enjoy! The deli is open only during the week. (Possibly only during lunchtime?) Avoid the pre-made hot sandwiches and get something made-to-order. Thanks to John S for the heads up on this joint. I'll be back.

All the reviews and pictures show a section called Ed's Deli with Middle Eastern delights, but on a Saturday all I could find was various brands of sandwiches and wraps made from out of town, way out of town companies.Evidently the good stuff is made on the weekdays. Why couldn't they make some ahead and keep cool for the weekend? The sandwich I had was amazingly fresh although it was made by K F Foods of Green Bay.There is also a line of juices from Calypso which has exotic blends and a colorful bottle, but how exotic is a drink from Milwaukee? At any rate it was refreshing to see creative flavors of lemonade and limeade with peach or strawberry thrown in.The store is neat and clean and has all the basics of a gas station convenience store, except you can't buy gas. The owner seems friendly and I'll eventually try on a weekday to find the shawarma and other garlic infused delights.
