Great weekend breakfast. Had one of the specials with Sausage. Great portions. The food always tastes better in a houseful. This has a hometown feel with personable service. Megan has a very friendly disposition. My first visit on a weekday. Great Specials. Fast delivery and hot. Breakfast all day. I will be back. Thanks.

Boy a typical diner dive . I sat at the counter and ordered the Buckboard Club . Excellent wheat toast ham, turkey and bacon club. Ample meat portions ( could hardly get it in my mouth). Fast service good fries....

First time at The Buckboard, came with my nephew for breakfast - he is from Lakeville so has been here before. I went with him on the 2 eggs w/ country fried steak & sausage gravy for $11. Wowza, it was so awesome, I loved it! The staff was so nice and they always keep your coffee fresh. I can't wait to come back!!

We came for brunch. The place has got an old school/country diner feel with a matching crew and menu. It was quaint, clean, and the people were friendly. Service was fast and we ordered pancakes, omelets, and eggs Benedict. Everything was tasty!!

Very good breakfast joint. Very small, and VERY busy. Fast service and amazing prices. Highly recommended.

Stopped in for breakfast, once inside it reminded me of the old diners. That is a compliment if food is worthy, and it was. I had an omelette, my wife had eggs and the hamburger patty. Both great and we had great service.

Secret gem in Lakeville!! I've driven by this place for 7 years and never stopped... until today! Place was fantastic- food was excellent and the service was super friendly. I would recommend this place to any looking for a farm fresh, hearty breakfast!

This a popular restaurant with the locals in Lakeville. Don't let the outside or inside appearance keep you from stopping by. This is a real diner in every sense of the word. The food is hearty with generous servings. We came here with family for breakfast before starting our day. The parking lot was very crowded as well as the restaurant itself. It is "seat yourself" and we were fortunate to get booth that had been cleared. Drinks and food orders were taken by a waitress who said she has worked there for years. When our food arrived quickly, I was surprised to see the generous servings. My husband said his All-American breakfast was delicious.

Favorite breakfast spot! My all time favorite is the Shams Skillet with hollandaise on the side. Service is super awesome.

Garbage skillet? Cmon, what's not to love? Hash browns done right (Krispy) it's almost a shame to cover em with gravy. +++ I think I can call this the anti-Perkins. Better flavor and atmosphere.

Delicious small breakfast joint. Their country fried steak is amazing. Long wait times but attentive servers. Have been going for years! Needs a bit of updating but it's definitely a dive place.

Had the best breakfast here, service was great, food came quick and was the best! So happy the yelp reviews brought us in. It may need a decor update and new carpet, but the food and people make up for it

You have to understand what you are getting here... Serious greasy spoon. Generous helpings, small and cramped. Awesome biscuits and gravy ...also love the Greek omelette.

I really wanted to give this place a better review! However the service was really poor. Our server never visited us after bringing our food, which is when we needed ketchup, water, and a refill on our coffee (we never got any of this). We kept trying to catch our server's attention for these things. Eventually, we finished our food and waited and waited to receive our check. This also never came, so after 30 minutes we got up to just pay at the counter....The food was good but wasn't impressive enough to keep me coming back to have bad service. It's a hole in the wall place that I've heard go things about but after my experience I can't recommend it.

Oooookay. I love it. We were seated immediately even though it's a busy Saturday morning and got our food maybe 5 minutes after we ordered. The total bill for 2 coffees and 2 breakfasts (huge portions) was $27. You can't beat that at a restaurant! This is a very family-run feeling restaurant (does that make sense?) and feels like a true gem. Additions to the menu are scribbled on posters and whiteboards all over the walls, which is sort of fun -- so many options. You can buy a breakfast here for $2.95. (Whaaaaat.) We chose the eggs Benedict and the kielbasa breakfast special. Both plates came out (as I said) 5-10 after we ordered. Huuuuge portions. Servings of hash browns bigger than my entire hand. The toast comes out buttered (I was searching for the butter on the table before I discovered this, haha) and the wait staff is VERY attentive. Amazing. Bring your neighbors, your grandparents, your aunt and uncle, your niece and nephew, your best friend, and your siblings. There's enough seating and food for them all!!!
