You can't get the company, HHT on the phone, just your local dealers, who happen to be clueless about the EPA Tax Credit. I called three. They were shocked to hear that the tax credit was 26% in 2022. They had no idea how it worked. Not to mention, HHT tries to imply that certain products qualify for the credit, when they obviously don't . HHT isn't going to pay for your tax attorney when you get an audit.Had I known they were so ignorant, I may have purchased another brand.

I do not feel safe using their products. I had their fireplace and flue installed by the dealer they authorized and trained. They could not install my fireplace correctly and couldn't fix it after trying 4 times.Manufacturer did nothing to assume responsibility or hold vendor I sourced through them accountable. Support is non-existent. They protect the dealer, not the consumer who uses their products in their home.

I tried calling for support and their automated system is an endless morass of confusing options with no clear option to talk to someone. I did get to a real person at one point and they just transferred me back to the automated system. Cannot recommend a company who creates such a confused support system.

Terrible direct consumer support. Contacted them to support my 3 y/o Vermont Casting Encore stove because my dealer could not support my problem. They would not give me any support and told me to call the dealer who was not able to support me in the 1st place.
