I was debating whether or not to post this because I NEVER review anything since not much really bothers me.. but THIS I HAD to say something.. I went here about a month ago around 2am since I don't normally have time during the day, I had my son with me who is autistic and hard to get to sleep thinking a late night shopping trip would tire him out.. I FILLED my cart with about 350$ worth of groceries and headed to check out, this KID, yes kid.. looks at me and says.. "OH sorry only SELF CHECKOUT IS OPEN"..... I was LIVID! I asked him if he was serious and what the reason was that he couldn't open a till, he just said "because I don't have the authority to do that"... WOW, I was SO upset and told him while he stared at me for 20 min while I rang my FULL CART up WHY he wasn't telling customers walking in that ONLY SELF CHECKOUT IS OPEN?? He didn't say anything.. I WANTED SO bad to just leave the cart there and walk out but I figured i would have just wasted all that time shopping then for nothing. He had the nerve to tell me while i was holding things ringing multiple up that i "forgot" to scam them! I told him i hadn't gotten to those items yet! So now he was accusing me of trying to be sneaky/steal when i was TRYING TO GET HIM TO CHECK ME OUT IN THE FIRST PLACE! I told him I should be getting paid to do this because I was doing HIS JOB while he just STOOD there. I ALSO saw him take his name tag off so on my way out I asked him what his name was. He was white and had long greasy hair. Finally he said "Philip" which idk if that's really his name, I said thanks and he yelled a snarky, sarcastic "you're welcome!" Back to me. I told him I won't be back. I don't get mad easily but I've HAD it with this self check out nonsense while the people who are getting paid do LESS than the customers. I even told this story to the 24hr cub in eagan and she was SHOCKED that self checkout would have even been open so late in the evening like that and that I had a right to be upset. I love the store and the produce everything but unfortunately this experience made me hesitant to return. Please do better and hire night staff that actually WANT/CAN work.

Is this store closing? There was only a handful of products on the tables in the bakery, the deli-EMPTY, meat dept service cases look old dirty. The overall store is filthy and the shelves are empty.

I was pleased to be greeted and assisted by Justin at checkout. He was personable and pleasant and had a warm smile. What a joy to encounter a young man so committed to great customer service!!

Always bad produce, 2-3x the cost of target or Walmart. All the employees hide away, must be embarrassed or something...
Probably because nothing rings up correct and the self checkouts suck!

Waited at the service desk for about 7min, when someone finally finished talking and noticed i was there. He walked up with an attitude like i was an inconvenience to him. I paid for a money order and he just set my change on the counter, tossed my receipt and never said thank you or anything. Never going back here again.

I’ve lived in the Twin Cities for decades, and Cub can’t seem to Provide value and convenience like target or Walmart Can. I just made the mistake of stopping at one since I was close by. And even though I’m sure I have been a member of their little loyalty club at times, They could not seem to find me. When I go to other grocery stores that have the rewards programs They have a store card or number that they can use to assure that you get the best prices. But not Cub. And the prices compared to target are atrocious. I actually had a list in my Target app So it was easy to compare. Literally every single item. was less at Target And in some cases 20 to 50% less.

This place is expensive for no reason at all. I could hardly find anything worth eating in there. The produce wasn't even all that, and the bananas were ALL green. MESSAGE TO CONSUMERS: You are not supposed to eat green bananas!These greasy supermarkets love it when you purchase green bananas because they can leave them on the shelf forever. They get big profits $$$ and you clog up your intestines. Whatever happened to bread with just half a dozen ingredients? I bet no one can walk out of there with a loaf or a bun that has less than thirty-five un-pronounceable things in it. Sugar EVERYWHERE! Hello diabetes.
