“We were considering switching vets and tried this office. Vet was super thorough and friendly. I really enjoyed the amount and of time the vet spent with our pet and the in depth exam. Office seemed spot on, but unfortunately an email was sent out a week later increasing fees things as simple as filling prescription (in addition to the prescription cost themselves) so we decided to not go back. Too many businesses these days are using fees for everything to gain (I say this as a business owner) and it is just not something that fits in my values, especially the general cost of vaccines, care, etc for a pet. If fees for everything don’t bother you- I definitely recommend this vet’s office.”
“I wanted to Thank all of you at Lake Animal Hospital, especially Dr. K. Roeser for your Love, Compassion, honesty and over and above Quality care for our P.C., (feral kitty we adopted at 7 months). P.C. (purr constantly), was a very important family member. We were very blessed to have her for 13 years. 8 months. She was so loving, outgoing and adaptable. She loved car rides, vacations up north to Grandpa's lake cabin, playing and window shopping from her 76" high tree tower. She loved people, being brushed and she loved her vet, Dr. Roeser. She was a very loyal companion. When P.C. was diagnosed with terminal small cell lymphoma in her G.I. in 2021 by emergency vet clinic doctor. The prognosis was her quality of life was maybe 3 to 6 months. She was still very active, playful and happy with the exception of weight loss and now cancer treatment. They offered chemo therapy with no promises. I knew chemo would have killed her so I opted out of chemo therapy. Following appointment was with Dr. Roeser at Lake Animal Hospital. Best decision I made. Thank you Dr. Roeser for guiding us through the decisions and Best care for P.C. She would not had those additional 2 years and 7months of Quality of Life and Happiness without you and your Team at lake Animal Hospital. Thank you most of all for your honesty when it was time and P.C started to decline. When she needed to be in that Better place in Heaven where she could be the kitty she loved to be, free of cancer and without limitations. Thank You Lake Animal Hospital Team. To all of you there for making P.C.'s passing yesterday very peaceful. “I have 3 cats that are seen by the staff at Woodbury Animal Hospital. One of them is very aggressive. The vet who did her exam and shots (Dr. Annelise) was so kind and understanding even when my cat came within a millimeter of biting her! She didn’t say that my cat was a bad cat or that she wouldn’t see her again, she merely suggested that we may want to look into sedating her for the next visit to make the visit more pleasant for everyone (including my cat). I have had numerous good experiences here, this is just one example. I’ll definitely be a client for life!”
“I cannot say enough nice things about this vet! I moved to the twin cities area and spent the longest time trying to find a vet for my cat but so many clinics made it so difficult to accept new patients and turned me away, that I had pretty much given up and resorted to treating my cats discomfort through whatever I could find on chewy.
On a whim one day I looked again and found this amazing clinic. I called on a Wednesday and got an appt for that Friday. My cat was obviously terrified and I prepared for the chaos of a waiting room with my crying cat and barking dogs, and was instead immediately met by the friendliest front desk staff who took me to a room to check in to avoid any drama.
The vet tech and vet were so kind as I explained what was going on with my cat. They weren’t judgmental as I explained that I couldn’t get her in for a long time, and were so gentle when they took Stevie to the back. Even through the door I could hear them talking to her in soothing tones and keeping her calm.
They immediately helped and my cat is no longer feeling discomfort and it is because of how incredible this team was and I am so grateful! I have such peace of mind knowing that there is somewhere I can confidently take my furry family members where they will be treated with love!”
“So glad I Decided to bring my cat here, she had been having appetite problems and they found the issue so quickly! The staff are super nice and you can tell they all cared for pets in need, cuddling my cat when they brought her back. She ended up having a dental with some teeth extracted and the surgery went super well with the Vet calling me to update and the staff being extremely informative about her after care. She even ended up having a small accident before coming home with me and they cleaned her right up, I'm so grateful! I really love the fact that they have separate sides for cats and dogs for comfort, super clean office and fair prices. Glad to have a veterinary office I know I can rely on!”

With a previous vet my dog needed to be sedated, but Dr. Abby knows her stuff! She made adjustments and distracted him with treats while giving vaccines and the exam. Thanks, Dr. Abby and team!”

“I've been taking my dog to Banfield for 8 yrs. When I lived in Maple Grove, MN, I took her to the Maple Grove Banfield. When I moved to Woodbury, I took her to the Woodbury Banfield for the last 3 years. I have my dog on the Wellness plan with dental cleanings. My dog of 12 1/2 yrs still has all her teeth and I think good oral health is vital to having a healthy dog. The wellness plan is worth it because they also do bloodwork at the checkups which can help spot if there's changes in my dog's health. A few times through the years, my dog needed to be seen for various things like itchy ears, limping, corneal eye ulcers and a possible squirrel bite. Each time they gave her the best care. When she had the corneal ulcers, the vet referred my to a vet Eye ophthalmologist at Blue Pearl. Thanks to that referral, my dog is not blind. The vet at Blue Pearl did a treatment twice and her eye ulcers healed.I really like Dr. Vogt at Woodbury Banfield as well as the techs and the front staff. I appreciate the reminder texts and phonically as well as the follow-up phone calls. All have been kind to my dog.”
“I love Dr. Clausen and highly recommend her. The staff at this location have been great and I see them real with some of the most hectic situations and upset clients. The location itself is pretty run down aesthetically and needs a face lift for sure. If I didn’t know the staff were great I wouldn’t go based on curb appeal. This is where Banfield should continue to invest a little. This is nothing against the staff, they are incredible.”
