Be helpful if you were to answer the phones or even return my message. Called three days in a row left two messages and nothing. Guess I’ll look elsewhere.

We've been a customer for years, but the recent decline in service has left us with mixed feelings. While there are a few positive aspects, the negatives have become increasingly hard to ignore.Let's start with the positives. The veterinary technicians at this clinic are undeniably friendly and seem genuinely caring towards the animals. Their warmth and compassion have been a consistent bright spot during my visits. Additionally, the prices for services are notably affordable, which is a relief for pet owners on a budget. However, these positives are unfortunately overshadowed by several significant drawbacks. One of the most frustrating issues is the lack of appointment availability. Scheduling an appointment has become a logistical nightmare, and the inflexibility in booking has left me feeling stranded during emergencies. They currently only allow for same day appointments. Furthermore, the clinic does not staff a veterinarian on all days, further compounding the challenges of scheduling. This limitation in availability has resulted in delayed care for my pets, which is concerning when time is of the essence. The front desk staff, in contrast to the friendly technicians, have been consistently unfriendly and unhelpful. Their demeanor creates an unwelcoming atmosphere, and their lack of willingness to assist with inquiries has been a source of frustration.Communication is another major issue. The clinic fails to return messages promptly, if at all, leaving you in the dark about my pet's health concerns. This lack of responsiveness has eroded my trust in their commitment to effective communication and customer service.Lastly, the refusal to provide prescriptions for medications that I can purchase elsewhere is a significant drawback. As a pet owner, I should have the option to choose where to buy medications, and the clinic's unwillingness to accommodate this preference is a major inconvenience. In conclusion, while the friendly technicians and low prices are commendable, the decline in appointment availability, limited vet availability, unfriendly front desk staff, poor communication, and prescription limitations have collectively soured a once-positive opinion of this vet clinic.

We have been bringing our dogs to La Crescent Animal Care for almost 30 years. They provide our pets with the best veterinary care in the coulee region and they treat us like family.

Please read the negative reviews and BELIEVE THEM. The receptionists are rude and need better customer service skills. They are sneaky here and will run tests and make unnecessary "consultations" with different veterinarians without telling you the price upfront. The only Employee I can tell cares about people and their fur babies is Danielle. Other than that, this place is just horrible.

We had a rescue Puggle named Dexter who we took to La Crescent Animal Care most of the time we had him. We moved further away and went elsewhere for about a year until our dog was diagnosed with terminal bladder cancer. We knew at that time that the only person we wanted in charge of our dog's end of life care was Dr. Bonnie. She, and the rest of the staff were so wonderful and compassionate until the very end. The day we brought him in to cross the rainbow bridge was awful, but they made it the best it could have been. Today I came home to a beautiful sympathy card and our Dexter's paw prints in the mail. To say I'm touched is an understatement. If any staff at the clinic are reading this, please know how much those details mattered to my family in our time of grief. We are grateful for all the compassion and care. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I have a mini schnauzer that is very difficult for grooming. She was banned from other grooming places for being difficult. I found at La Crescent that they were able to handle my mini schnauzer very well. I also was rold that my MS did great. At the same time they were able to treat an ear infection that she was having. All the staff is very friendly. They even took my Bella for a walk while I was on my way to pick her up. I had a great experience. Very recommended.

Sadly we needed to say Goodbye to our 12 year old miniature dachshund. The staff were so caring, gentle and understanding. I so appreciate the kindness shown to us on such a sad day.

We had to bring our Winnie girl in after she got stung. We were visiting for our camping trip. They were very accommodating and got our girl back to feeling better.

I chose this vet, and gladly drive further to get to their location, because they're one of the very few that offer emergency services. Unfortunately I had to use that service as well (dogs can sometimes get Lyme's even with the vaccination!), but fortunately the vet was able to get his very high temp down and got him on antibiotics. He's a happy 11 year old pup again.
