Ace usually has what I need. Their app works well & is easy to order & pickup in quick order. I have no complaints. Associates are friendly & helpful. I definitely recommend Ace Hardware!

Very disappointed with the store with the new ownership… multiple experiences with nothing but disrespect and bad attitudes from who I assume are the new owners.Went in once to rent a carpet cleaner which I always do 1-2 times a year. Told them I have used it many times, but got a 5 minute speech on how I’d be fined if/when I clipped off the 3rd prong of the power cord. This was after I told them 3 times I’ve used it without any problems. If you don’t trust people, then don’t rent anything out.Also, went in to make a small purchase and was told I couldn’t use a card because my purchase was too small. I had already swiped my card and the purchase went through and got a very snippy response of “well I guess I’m not getting paid for those items”. Instead of getting angry with the customer, maybe make your system work correctly to not allow card payments for certain amounts.I really have liked this store in the past as they have most anything you could need, but I plan on going to La Crosse for anything due to the new ownership.

I’ve walked in and walked out of this store twice in the last week because they don’t have what I needed in stock. Much higher prices than Menards. Not worth it - previous local owners made it worth the small upcharge but not anymore.
