We stayed one night in mid September. Lovely campground , spacious sites. Electric only at the site some sites 50 amp service. Some 30 amp. Water to put in your tank at a number of hydrants. I would definitely go back again!Dog-friendliness: We were there with 2 smaller dogs.

Nice campground with wide, level spots. Not much for shade yet as the trees are smaller. Campground is next to a busy road so you will have some road noise. Lots of trails, some paved, gravel and grass. Has a dump site also. Would stay here again.Playground: Two playgroundsRestrooms: CleanDog-friendliness: Lots of dogs here when we camped. 6ft leash rule and pick up after your dog.Picnic area: Most of the picnic tables at each of the camp sites are wheelchair accessible at one end.

Nice park BUT the bathroom is for CAMPERS ONLY. If you are visiting to use the trails or let your kids play at the park you are not allowed to use the restroom building, it is locked with a keypad and only people camping there are given a pin. I do not understand how a public park does not allow access to people who need to use the restroom!!! There is a porta potty hiding in the back but it was pretty nasty looking. If they are going to restrict the usage of bathrooms then please make a clean porta potty available to the public

I camped here after the Labor Day weekend so there was only a couple other people but the sites are nice sized and most have a tree or two my site was level for the most part they all come with a fire ring and picnic table. If water hook up is essential for you then you would not want to camp here they do have a spicket in the beginning of the entrance along with the dump station as well. Talking with the camp host Sue(who btw is friendly?) they're going to be paving their trails and making a beach across the bridge. There is a fairly nice-sized restroom with two showers and are for campers only you have to have the code to get in there but very clean. There was a note on the bathroom door I believe that mentioned they had some lawn activities to rent one was lawn darts and I think badminton. They also have ice for sale $3 5 lb $6 £10. They also have two playgrounds for kids. So you might ask why only a 4??! And the reason being is the price for electric only it was $35 a night and although it is a nice campground, I found that to be a little high just saying. Thanks for reading and you enjoy the rest of your day or night LOL peacePlayground: There are two playgrounds at this campground with your normal playground equipment; swings, slides etc . . They also have lawn games to like badminton and croquet for a small fee I believe. Thanks for readingRestrooms: Restroom is code operated which is nice, the bathrooms are super clean and have 2 shower stallsDog-friendliness: Yes, but have to be leashed and please clean up after them .. who wants to step in poo doo..js✌️

Pretty and has a very friendly, helpful staff. Drawbacks are it's right on a well traveled road with no barriers (trees). Nice walking trails. Nice bath house, Nice picnic shelter and community room.

Not a huge lake Washington fan, but the port-a-dump was as disgusting as I've ever seen, and it was mid day on a friday... I could maybe understand after a rough weekend or something, but this was inexcusable. The cabin where we had my daughter's grad party was musty. I wasn't impressed

Always a favorite stop for time spent in nature, the paths go through woods, prairies, fields, and even down by the lake. If you need to be wild and get your nature fix this is the perfect place.

So I camped here right after Labor Day so there were only a few pple here so that was Awesome!! I notice they had few lawn games u can rent such as Lawn Darts ?I'm not sure the fee, the spaces are decent size and vary in back in and pull through also vary in coverage some have trees some dont. If water hook up is important to you then you wldnt want to camp here for there's not water?? hookups but they do have a spickot ?when you first come in same with dump station. I see they sell ice 3$5# & 6$10# they have a regular playground ??and some hiking trails I'm going to go on after I write this.. lol. You can buy bundle of ? for 5$ ?as well which is about 5 pieces so kinda spendy?? in my opinion. ???? Restrooms very clean! They also have picnic tables and ? ring at each site, the pwr? is 2030& 50 and few tent sites. There's always tons of stuff to do in Mankato great food ??????, bars some w entertainment????????ok so I just talked to the camp host and they are in the midst of making small beach an can access it from the property access the bridge plus they are going to pave some trails. Nice campground so then why a '4'? Cause for 30amp elec spot only no water was 35$/nite I thought it quite high in my opinion. Thanks for reading Peace ✌️

Very clean and cozy new campground just outside of Mankato! Close enough to Mankato to invite friends and family! It gives good ‘stay-cation’ vibes! Taking the boat out tomorrow also! The public landing is just down the road! It’s a gem!
