My rating is 3.5 stars. I'll round up.Whenever I am returning from a day trip from northern Iowa and southern Minnesota and I'm staying in Eagan, I always drive by this Target in Inver Grove Heights. It has intrigued me for a while. I was looking for a specific product and decided to visit this Target to see if I could find it. I went after work.I learned that this Target is the closest one from the hotel where I usually stay in Eagan. Who knew? I normally visit the one on Cliff Road, which is a smidge farther. It was great visiting a different Target. There was a lot of parking available. I backed into a spot and walked in.Sadly, the item that I was looking for wasn't available at this store. However, what I did see did open my eyes.I love seeing travel-sized products. The variety is amazing and prices are decent. This store also has Popcornopolis and Pizza Hut. What?! Popcorn and pizza were the best discoveries from this visit. I love both so much. This store has an exceptional selection of umbrellas. It was impressive and a pleasant surprise. Most Targets have a CVS. This store used to have a Minute Clinic where you can seek medical care. Sadly, this store has closed the clinic down permanently. Bummer for those who need a doctor.I enjoyed browsing. I hope that the item gets restocked soon. I will return to get popcorn and pizza. I don't recall having Pizza Hut stateside in ages, so it's time to break that streak. I know where to get my Popcornopolis fix now.(81)

I go to Inver Grove Heights Target because it's close to my house but I'm honestly thinking of driving further to the Eagan Target where they actually have staff and if they don't have enough staff, at least there is self check out. The last 3 times I've went to this Target, 2 lanes were open with a line of at least 5 people in each. I waited in line over 20 minutes. I was honestly thinking of leaving my cart. This doesn't happen any where else. Usually there is a manger managing the front lines who call in more cashiers, but I never see one either. It's a store with no employees. Meanwhile, there's always at least 4 employees at the Starbucks fooling around with no one in line. I went to buy a coffee and they kept talking without acknowledging me. It's not a party, you are at work. Where are the managers?

Customer service was rude and did not want to help. Finally got a second customer service person to assist - she was great. Reported it to the manager who merely said "I'll have to ask her what was going on" and really didn't care. With management's attitude it is easy to see why staff feels they can ignore customers.

This is one of the few un-remodeled Targets that still has the cafe with hot dogs and Pizza Hut inside. This target is sort of like a hidden gem because it's sort of secluded and not near any other big businesses. I like coming here for a quick Target run. This target is great to come to during my lunch breaks at work to grab a few small things or things on sale. There is a rather large grocery section too that has similar items as other stores.

I realize that the team members are the in the middle of the holiday season. Was just at the Eagan store looking for a gift. Could not find it. Asked for help. The clerk looked on the inventory system. She told me there were two in Inver Grove Heights. I immediately drove over to IGH. Could not find it. Asked for help from a clerk. She said the system showed there were two. She put no initiative into helping me figure this out. Simply told me it must be a mistake. I asked if it was possible they were in back and she said no. I was disappointed by her lack of effort. When I got to the front to check out with my other items I asked to speak with a manager. Her response was very uninspiring. She said she would make a note of it. Not sure if Target appreciates the aggravation of having customers drive from store to store. In the scheme of life not a big issue but still disappointing.

Alas, i feel guilty keeping THIS Target my silent favorite-- off the beaten track, PLENTY of wonderful selections of different styles and sizes.... and peaceful, relaxed enjoyable browsing. Staff is also very " chill", pleasant. I go to the University Midway store first for exciting trends, excellent display and attractive use of space ( clothing ::jewelry :: accessories nicely blended together like a mini village). Rarely are the clothes here packed together compressed quickly like Roseville which ALWAYS has excellent inventory if looking for something specific. Knox Rose is still being sold at this Inver Grove Heights store. Three years ago i loved knox rose ( flowing caftans, beautiful quality fringe, attractive cuts/ patterns in styling, nice textiles and detail). But now i am a bit tired of the peasant look. Target has always been known for going " that extra mile" tweeking our creative non-conformist spirit every now and then. This is what i love and hunt for! This year you can see it in the jewelry, in the Hawaiian type 100% cotton blouses, In the eyelit detail on some tops, a splash of orange, yellow, the Mexican style summer dresses ( the super bright pink yellow purple girls mittens accessories at Xmas!). I am especially happy to finally see MORE 100% cotton tops and dresses! Having moved here years ago from SUPER humid Richmond, Virginia, i know the wonders of surviving extreme heat dressed in 100% cotton. Go to Macys-- almost zero cotton clothing, and if you find it, it will be $$. But remember, wash cotton in cold water and keep away from the dryer ( i air dry all my nice cotton clothes on hangers in door ways). Even cotton socks shrink/ get destroyed in hot dryers. 100 % Cotton and wool clothing have become very very expensive-- hence you don't find it in the stores anymore. Inver Grove has a nice mini selection of fresh fruit veggies and a nice selection of fresh meat, frozen snacks and entres too. ...a great way to " come down" from a super intense day at work. Quiet peaceful store. Leaving the store esp at 7 pm Fridays/ Sundays, it is very exciting watching all the planes land at MSP. You're right there, smack in the middle!

Wow, what a horrible experience. With all the empty Grocery shelves I thought I was in 1980s Russia. I have no idea how Target is based in the Twin Cities and yet have a store with so many empty shelves. I am very lucky I was able to get milk, bread and Yogurt. Everything else was hit and miss including finding ramen noodles. Next time I will drive extra miles to the Apple Valley Target.

This place is amazing. This is the one I will seek out. First, it's away from EVERYTHING. An actual sense of privacy. As you walk in, the bathrooms are right on the right. So is the soda that's on sale. I had to kill some time and was going to go to the Starbucks. Until I spotted the shoes and thought I'd browse. I couldn't believe the variety and some looked as good as in any good shoe store. I found a pair of flats in W. I was so excited I bought 2 pair. Why not at 19.99 each. There were actually employees around and they were friendly. What a difference atmosphere makes when you're working. I found sale items of Mickey Mouse and I bought a plastic Power Puff girl glass, I was that happy. I stopped by the makeup aisle for some brushes. I think one of them was Mickey Mouse too. So was the travel kleenix I bought. I had a ball using my Red card on some major impulse shopping, and didn't even spend that much. Two hours later, checking out wasn't the usual high anxiety, but pleasant. Everyone is in a good mood here and I was too as I left the Target in The Twilight Zone.

A nice new store, it's usually not busy, I don't think a lot of people know about it.

Mostly not overly busy and easy to find things. If you go there around 5:00 pm on weekdays the cashiers are almost always understaffed. Most items are in stock. Staff are friendly and helpful.

This is one of my favorite Targets because they often have items that are sold at at other Targets. Also, they often don't get as large of crowds and have tons of parking! They have a Starbucks in the store so you can stay caffeinated while you shop ! They also have a mini grocery . It's not as big as the super stores, but it has a good variety !

I was out here checking hours and noticed that there were no reviews for this target so I had to leave one. I really love this target for reasons that will probably make it go under: nobody is ever there & as a result, they have SO MUCH clearance most any time you go there. I would imagine that it's a great place to hit up black friday specials, but I would also imagine that they probably don't get the quantity of items like a bigger store would. I go out of my way to go to this target over closer ones, when I have the time to go out of my way.
