We bought a CX-5 on deposit due to it still being in transit. When I called to follow up, the dealership had no recollection and couldn’t find the records. But, the money for the deposit had been taken. After a back and forth they found the info for the vehicle which was on the lot (who knows how long). We made an appointment to come in the following day at 2 to finalize the purchase. They sent text and email to verify 2 appointment. My wife and son went in at 1:41 and had to sit till 4. Then at 4 they got us in. Not a fun experience.

I had a great experience at Morries. Mary was awesome worth the whole process and after going over everything. Sean was also great going over the financing part and explaining things. I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a Mazda.

2 stars because I do love my car but this is about the service I received after buying it.
Heres my 4 week story of buying a certified pre owned Mazda at Morrie's. Try to count all of the lies that I have been told.
07/24 - bought the car
07/29 - check engine light came on
08/01 - dropped off car for warranty work, they said I was going to be charged $15 for the rental & said something about a 3year/36k warranty when I had the 7year/100k warranty.
08/05 - found the issue and fixed it, also tried charging me $50 for a new engine filter when the 120 point inspection on 06/25/24 said that they replaced the filter.
Kept the rental because I had an appointment on Wed. for scratches and detailing the inside. After some emails and phone calls got the charge fixed and asked them to look at the transmission because it felt like my 2011 outback that had transmissions issues.
08/07 - no word
08/08 - called them at 10:30am and then at 3pm to get one call back saying that the car will be done tomorrow and they couldn't find any issue with the transmission.
08/09 - called them again at 1pm to get a text 10min later saying it's done. Picked up the car, scratches were buffed out but the only thing on the inside that was touched was the glue stain on the passengers floor (they put there for the floor protection when selling the car and it was still very sticky).
Took them 10-20 minutes to do most of the work that I asked them to do a week ago but they refused to try and work on the driver seat debris more even though they had it for at least 2 whole days for detailing. They managed to get some of it off in the 10-20mins so it was possible that they could of gotten it all if they actually tried. Also a 20min vaccum to all the nooks and crannies in the seats would of made a huge difference.
08/12 - recieved an email back from sales lieing to me that he told my boyfriend and I the 2022 models dont come with bose.... yeah... tired to tell me that we looked at other cars when we only looked at and drove the one I bought, he pointed to some of the 2024 cars in the lot but I had no interest in those.
Its going to be a long 7 years/100k miles.

The high rating of this place more than likely comes from the fact Mazda's are reliable and things usally don't go wrong with them, not the dealer itself.
When I walked into this place to buy the car I wanted that they had I stood for like 5 minutes on a slow weekday for somebody to come up and ask if I needed help.
When I bought my new car I noticed a big scrape on the side panel fresh off the lot. Had to email multiple times to get them to get me in to take care of it. When I called about a warranty question for a malfunctioning sensor in my seat I was told they'd call back and never did (luckily sensor stopped buggin out not long out).
Everybody that picks up the phone here sounds clueless or doesn't want to help. And when things are passed off to management somehow less helpful and you don't hear from them. There are much better Mazda dealers in the twin cities. Would not reccomend this place as it just wasn't bad luck when these things continue to happen.
