for 21 years, I have rented a tank for my swimming pool heater. I paid $25 rent for each year. Due to the last few hot summers, we haven't had to fill our tank. Its Minnesota, pool season is short and we have had some hot summer months of late. So with out any warning, I just receive a bill for rent on our tank. $300!!!! WHAT?! How can you do that? Completely blind sided. Customer service refuses to transfer me to a manager. Its a tank for a pool! I would never be able to do 2 fills per year. so instead after 21 years of renting, they want to up it to $300!!!! What is wrong with Ferrellgas now?? And if I buy the tank? my rent for 21 years would not be included or even considered in the price. And again, no notice of any new policy.

Horrible customer service. Would schedule for a refill for out tank and would never make it out in time. We could go over a week with no propane for heat. This is the worst propane facility I have ever dealt with. If you have an option to go somewhere else do it.

Terrible Service. I ordered propane over a week ago. My credit card has been charged but, no one has bothered to come or inform me when they are coming. When I called, the receptionist was no help. Just wanted to take a payment but, couldn't tell me when the delivery would be made. Inquired about a pre-purchase program and was told to watch the mail. Receptionist would not try to help save money during this horrible time of inflation or assist with even being friendly. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Been out of Propane for over a week now and they still refuse to come out and fill it, unless I want to pay a $150 fee for next day service! They charged my credit card and have had my money since January 20th.....it is now the 1st of February! They don't even deserve 1 star! Definately switching them out this summer!

Customer service is horrible. They have swapped to a national call center for scheduling delivery. If it’s weekends or after hours, forget about being contacted until the next business day. When it’s subzero temps and you’re out of propane it’s extremely concerning. When Ferrell does finally get ahold of you, they use some lame excuse about “winter storms” and give you a 10day window for delivery. Wish we would have purchased our own tank instead of renting from Ferrell so we could fill at our own discretion with companies that care.Soon as this tank is empty we will be switching to a local company that can schedule accurately and are available when you need them most.

They don't even deserve 1 star! They are price gouging, their prices are over 20% higher than anywhere else in the area and the are charging twice as much to the native american communities. They are a rip off, they are unprofessional, they don't leave slips and over charge for gas. I recommend you check your bills and change or choose a different company for your propane needs.

I went in to get my 30# RV tank re-certified. Everyone was friendly and helpful! The staff go out of their way to provide customer service. Super impressed!

Were very helpful answering questions about my old tank. This one of very few places that can recertify an expired tank. Was in and out in 10 min.

quick to take your $ slow to fill your tanks over priced filled a 20# cost $18 filled the day before at Mike's lp and gas Maplewood cost $13.50 40# at fertile gas $33.12 mikes 24.95 you would think Ferrellgas being a distributor they would be a cheaper price not the case

Their website advertises their hours as open until 5:00 on weekdays. I arrived at 4:35, having left work early and having driven 15-minutes to get there. The woman in the office said that the guys that fill tanks all leave at 4:30 and that the yard always closes at 4:30 and I was too late to get my tanks filled. I told her that the web site clearly says they are open until 5:00. She said that yes, the office is open until 5:00, but the yard and refills close at 4:30. I told her I had gone out of my way to get there when I did. She literally said, "People that have been here before know that the yard closes at 4:30." She did say she was, "sorry". But the "sorry" wasn't that the website was wrong and misleading and needed changing, but she was sorry that I had not been there before and, therefore, would know that they actually closed at 4:30. Why not post that on the website! You should also read the numerous articles on the web where this company has paid fines in multiple states for deceptive billing practices. In hind sight, I am not sure I would trust them to fill my tanks!

We have a Greenhouse in Chaska and there is going to be a hard freeze tonight. We had about $25,000 in plants that need to be protected. Steve and the crew member at Chaska had everything I needed to keep our stock warm. I cannot say enough about the great customer service I got, I will be back!!
