Everyone here is absolutely amazing and our soon to be 10 month old is excelling in everything! They do an excellent job with the kids and we have never had a problem with anyone here. Our daughter LOVES going to school and we get frequent updates throughout the day via their online app, which we love. I cannot recommend this facility enough. It is also VERY clean and the kids are exposed to new things daily, which is excellent for them in a critical stage in their lives. We have been so blessed to have our child watched at their center.

When my daughter turned 3, we were looking to transition from more of a daycare setting to a school setting but without all the up-tight, industrial feels of some new daycare/preschools. This is the perfect fit. My daughter’s been attending since October and I can’t share enough about how wonderful this place is. All the staff (and fellow parents) are kind, caring, and inclusive.

My son used to hate going to daycare but since we switched to EFC he has been so much happier and gets excited to see his friends each day! The staff is wonderful as well.

Our daughter has been attending Especially for Children - Inver Grove Heights since she was 8 months old - currently 15 months. The facility is very inviting and the teachers and directors are fantastic. The directors spend time assisting the teachers in the classroom and our daughter always has to stop by and give them a hug when going home for the day. The classrooms are large and the teachers are great at recognizing her needs and help push her development (e.g. going up/down stairs, sippy cup transition, sign language when eating, sharing, etc.). They do many lessons with the babies with themes like Earth week, reading month, picnic in the classroom, etc. Our daughter's favorite activity is arts and crafts - she is frequently painting or drawing something in the photographs sent in the app. We could never have given our daughter as many experiences as this fantastic facility has. I would highly recommend Especially for Children for caring for your children.

My son went there. One teacher had up to 20 kids by himself. He was to hard on the kids. My son was not charged he was left in a went Diaper for 5 hours. This happened 4 times. And there more. My son did not Let going. He loves his new school. There more but that happens but I just stop there.

My son came home with a broken wrist at 11 months old with no explanation. They were cited for letting him sleep on a cot and not in a crib.

If your low income they send your kids home constantly and blame it on diarrhea. We have taken our kids to the doctors several times because of this and never turned up anything. They basically send your kids home so they get the state money without having to care for your child.

My daughter loved it there and learned a lot. Plus I did not have to send her to preschool because they had a preschool program. By the time she was 4 she knew all her numbers and all her letters and thei sounds.

EFC has been nothing but wonderful. My son started at the IGH location when he was 3 mos old and he is now 3 years old. The teachers and directors have been nothing but supportive in my child's development over the years. I really like that this center practices open communication between parents, teachers and directors at all times. This center uses ipads to let you know what your child has done through out the day. If you don't have computer access they are ALWAYS happy to talk to you on the phone or when you pick up.The teachers that we have had experiences with have been nothing but kind, warm and nurturing. Everytime my son moves to another room (due to age appropriateness) it's harder on me than it is on him. I grow to adore the teachers as much as my son does. We are simply amazed at how much he learnes everyday.I have never had any problems with this center and would recommend this center to anyone looking to leave their child in good hands through out the day.
