If I could have given a zero I would have. Took 3 hours to get my online rental. They coded the car wrong on their end couldn’t figure it out. When they finally did they said I put the car code in wrong. I spoke with person about reservation. I didn’t code anything. Then the truck broke down leaving me stranded up north. They told me to just come in they would have another vehicle ready. I asked how I should get in there, since I didn’t have a car. They didn’t have an answer. I called and spoke to roadside assistance. They just came and took the car. They said I could ride with driver to Avis. But Avis was closed by time he got there. Also tow truck driver said he was bringing it to Avis repair lot not an actual Avis. When I finally found my own ride from cabin they assured me they would have a car ready. When I got there he asked for keys. I told him I left them with car. He said why did you do that? I explained that is what Avis roadside told me to do. Place keys under driver side front mat. He told me how was he supposed to know it got towed? When I explained my frustration he told he it wasn’t his fault he was just an independent office and offered no discount for broken car, leaving me stranded, missing events for holiday weekend, having to find my own ride, wasted hours and hours on the phone, and I have to go back up north to cabin to get all the things that wouldn’t fit in car when I found my own ride. Then he got super mad and came at me after I told Avis off. All around terrible terrible service at this location. Renter be where, if you looking for a place that doesn’t stand behind their product and blames customer for entering in wrong information on their computer and come after upset renters by all means rent from this location. This was my first time renting with Avis and it was disappointing at best. While the car was mostly fine mechanically, it was in really poor condition with lots of body damage, including several dents and scratches, ripped and stained upholstery inside, a nasty smell that my son described as smelling like a gerbil, a busted tail light that allowed water to seep into the trunk and onto our belongings, and the infotainment deck kept crashing randomly throughout our trip, causing us to miss a couple of turns along our way (generally not a big deal, but we had a 1300-mile one-way drive ahead of us and just a couple of missed turns caused about an hours worth of delays, which is a lot when the trip was already about 17 hours without rental car mistakes). If this hadn't been an emergency trip that required us to be on the road immediately the morning we picked up the car, I would have demanded something different. There used to be a place called Rent-a-Wreck in my hometown, and my family joked that Avis must be the new Rent-a-Wreck. The customer service at the office was alright, but I can't imagine being proud to actually rent out vehicles that are in such poor condition. I don't imagine I'll consider Avis again there's no way I could recommend Avis to any of my friends and family. Luckily, they all saw the car with their own eyes, so I don't need to say a thing.

Wow! This has been the easiest, fastest, most pleasant car rental experience EVER!Monica was fantastic and helped us through the process quickly so we could be on our way.

A pretty average experience until I went to return the car yesterday. The woman behind the desk was a nightmare. She treated me with an amazing level of disrespect. She managed to mis-quote the rental agreement, insult my education, and grab the keys from my hand. When I asked her name she told me it was "the manager". I have never met with such hostility in a customer service situation. Edit: I got in touch with the regional performance manager and de-escalated the situation. I greatly appreciate this. It seems it's just this location that's so bad. Hopefully it will get better.

Monica is the best. Customer service was quick easy and she answered all my questions. I will be using this place again because Monica was very nice and helpful. My first experience with renting a vehicle. This experience was a great first experience.

I had a 7:30am reservation today (1/10). I called twice the week before to make sure someone would be there at 7:30 when they opened because I had a meeting in Minneapolis at 8am. I showed up at 7:30am and left at 7:47am because no one came to open up the business.

Rented a car out of town. After they got it back I got charged a lot of money for "miscellaneous" fees. After getting a call back days later from a stupidvisor who obviously didn't intend on doing anything other then making a call he had to, he did absolutely nothing. Use any other rental company if you can help it. You will thank me in the end.

I have rented here a few times in a row. The first two times, there was a young lady that was super great, professional and attentive. Unfortunately on our last visit we weren’t treated great and it was by a different employee. He gave us a vehicle that was worn out pretty bad and it made noises while on the highway. When I called to notify the worker, his response was, “the last driver never said anything.” When I called customer service they said he was suppose to offer us a new vehicle (which didn’t happen).

Absolutely horrible customer service! The counterperaon, Monica, was very rude and unhelpful. When we asked for her manager's name and contact information, she told us to go ahead and contact him because she didn't care. I would highly suggest using the Avis/Budgete location in Bloomington instead of this one. That location provides far better (and friendlier) customer service!

Wish i could give it less than 1. No one showed up to work the day of my rental. I had a rental to pick up at 8am on Saturday 8/23/2019, this is the time the location opens. No employees showed up, the doors were locked, and I waited (along with other people) for over an hour. Eventually had to change my pickup location to MSP Airport. Should have had my car at 8am, i was on a tight timeline, instead i ended up with my car by 11am. Would never rent here again. No compassion or empathy from the Avis Customer Support line. Absolutely horrible.

Some of the best prices on rental cars in the twin cities. I've rented many times from here and had no issues. The people that work here are friendly and didn't try to pressure me to buy insurance through them.

The woman who helped us, Monica, was amazing! She was friendly, helpful, professional and generally a pleasure to work with! I don't know about any other Avis locations, but I would happily recommend this location. Avis, I congratulate you on having such a great rep as Monica!!
