Went in on a Friday to open up a bank account and the teller was trying to send me away before I even finished my sentence. I was told to go home and do it online, I said I had tried and was told to come to a location, she then said I have to make an appointment to open a checking while she and the other teller were standing there doing nothing but talking to each other.

Wells Fargo – terrible to work for, terrible to be a customer for, and just terrible in general. I have had nothing but issues as a customer. It wasn’t much better when I was employed with them. I already started moving over all of my money. I just bought a house and had no issues with my ID. A huge couple hundred thousand dollar loan and no issues. I got a same-day printed ID from Lakeville which I also gave a bad review because they suck. The ID looks funny but has the identifiers so I carry around my old ID just in case of issues. My ID scans perfectly fine and is used by alcohol and cannabis shops. It is also able to be used by police officers. I couldn’t get something notarized today. I was then told that they is supposed to be an imaginary picture on the back of said card. The DMV said that it is only for the ones issued where they take a weeks to arrive. I went back to the bank to speak with the manager about it and was told it would be about 10 minutes. This was false. It was a lot longer to the point where I had to get up and leave. My husband didn’t let us fully leave because of the convenience of Wells Fargo, which is the only good thing that this company provides. This is the last damn straw.
Due to getting a response on my review. I reached out to his Wells Fargo to see if they wanted to make it right and they did. They made time for me to get the stuff I need it done which was great. I move the review up from one star two. As I still experienced issues with this branch in general, while dealing with them. A lot of the concerns that I have work customer service based not even them just not signing it prior. I may go back in a couple weeks to give them another chance. Maybe they can move up to three or four stars.

They are dumb can’t even set up any type of account I don’t know why they work there if they are just going to do nothing and be a waste of time there. The point of physically going there and physically having a Wells Fargo in Hutchinson is to easily open an account but they suck at their job. If I would’ve known I wouldn’t have gone there?.

VERY POOR service. Need to make an appointment to see a personal banker. This sometimes can take days!!!

This review is mainly for Wells Fargo in general, not necessarily this branch in particular.I had to set up my account online due to covid having the lobby closed(understandably). I drove up to due my first deposit. They could not find my account and found out later they were looking up an account I had 10 years ago. Then I had to re-enter all of my new credentials due to them not being able to find my newly created account.With all of this I could not create an online banking account until I had my card and even then I had to call and drive down to the drive thru to verify it was me creating the account. Mind you this is 2 weeks into having the account already.At week 4 I still could not access my account number, I tried setting up a Venmo account to help my friends get groceries while they are quarantining. I called customer support, they could not verify it was me due to not knowing my account number and got hung up on, mind you I could verify my last 4 social, street I grew up on, pin number, address, 4 questions of what I did in the last 6 years and so on.I closed my account today. I know there is account security and I appreciate that. But this is way too much. I would not recommend this company.

What is with the drive thru ATM here? It seems to break down every other Friday afternoon when folks need to get deposits done. Don't need to go in to talk to a teller and get asked about my plans for the weekend. Annoying. Just want the drive thru ATM to work, on a consistent basis, so I can make deposits without 20 questions. Have had to drive to Litchfield location several times due to this. You think they would add a second drive thru ATM like most all other locations, or have their current one in better service.

My debit card was turned into this bank. Nicely enough they called me to let me know it was there. I did explained to them that I don’t live in the area and would be passing through the next week. They said it was fine and they would hold onto it. I came in today and No one knew anything of it, where to find it, Or what to do. (The lady I talked to on the phone wasn’t there) After waiting And watching them scramble around I was told it was destroyed after 5 days. I would have greatly appreciated if that information was passed on over the phone. I wouldn’t have wasted my time and just ordered a new one online from the start. A little information goes a long a way.

They keep stealing $5 from my accounts without telling me. I recommend joining SouthPoint Financial Credit Union they have no fees.
