I will never spend a penny there again the owner is a dick and doesn't have the ability to teach his employees the difference of a fathead and a crappie minnow. 3 times thos year I have hD to say something .my wife was In town I asked her to get a scoop of fatheads and got crappie minnows. I asked for 2 scoops 1 day got 1 and questioned it he said oh . owner is a p**** I complained and all he had to say is tanks are labeled your wife needs to know the difference. I have spent tons of money there wasn't even asking for a refund all he said was I had 100 applications out I'd your better maybe you should apply. complete idiot. it's the point not the $4.99 I never asked for money back I actually went in bought an actual scoop of fatheads and left for my last time and will spread yhe word

Worst excuse for a bait shop I've seen!! I owned a baitshop for 14 years and if my employees had ever treated customers like that, they wouldn't have been working for us long!! Going to Runnings from now on!! Better bait and service!!

What a great bait shop! They have a fully stocked selection of live bait and anything you forgot on the way to your favorite lake. I was very impressed.

Been buying minnows since I was old enough to earn money. Bought a dozen mediums and they were dead within two hours in a minnow bucket full of their water. Did not change water temperature and there should be no oxygenation issues within two hours in a full bucket. Went back, asked for them to be replaced, clerk refused and was snappy about it as well. I’ll be going out of town for my bait from now on.

Staff isn’t friendly and they barely speek to customers. Ya I get it your job is gas station clerk be approachable and say hello and thank you. We spend our $ at your outpost.

I walked with my kids to a movie, at the State Theater on Main Street, we live at the apartments close to the Outpost. Two of my kids had to use the bathroom on the walk back, and just couldn't wait until we got to the apartments. So we stopped by the Outpost, (I go there 2-3 times a week) while they went to the bathroom I grabbed a few things I needed and paid for them at the register, the dude that checked me out seemed really mad, I just figured it's the end of the day and didn't take it personally and waited for my girls while they were using the restroom. Then out of no where I hear the guy yell about how they are probably messing up what he'd cleaned, not subtle, not quit, loud enough to make my son feel like he needed to leave the gas station, before the girls were done. These girls are 7 and 9 by the way. He waited till they got out, to come inside from a cigarette break where he kept mean mugging acting like we were being inconsiderate or rude, the girls just couldn't wait to go to the bathroom, what parent would want there child to wet/poop there pants if there is a bathroom not far from where we are? It's not like we aren't paying customers, actually the opposite, we go there few times a week to buy this or that. Every time this guy is working he's rude, it didn't bother me until today, when he was throwing a fit about kids using the bathroom. this was around 7:10 (50 minutes before the shell closes and we left before 7:30), it wasn't even like we came in 5 minutes before they closed. He's the only worker there I've ever interacted with this rude, and I recall my 7 year old asking for an application from this worker, to give to her Aunt when she was looking for a job, she explained why she was collecting the application and the guy told her no that she needed to come in herself. Again she's 7 and he was just rude about that as well. I'm not sure if this worker is racist, or just hates children, but either way it's terrible customer service. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BRINGING YOUR CHILDREN INTO THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

Purchased wrong fishing lure in August. Went to return it the next day and was told that only the manager can do returns and she is gone for the day. Over the last several months I would stop in from time to time to exchange/return the lure but I never could catch her there. Finally this weekend they told me she is only there in the morning. So I stop in this A.M. and she is there but says she can't do sporting goods, but someone in back can. He comes out and tells me "I can't excange something bought in August "I say you're f-ing kidding me", he says "I'm not f-ing kidding you". I tell him I've been in to return this lure many times and he just shrugs. All this for a $10 lure.
