What a great bunch of guys & girls! I was traveling from out of town when my check engine came on. They were able to accommodate me by checking it out. I was back on my way in a little over an hour. Thanks, all of you!

Me my mom and brother all went here once and they tried to scam all of us my brother especially they said his engine was unrepairable and when he wanted to bring it to another shop they insisted it was a waste of time because they wanted to buy it from him. He brought it to another shop anyway and it ended up being a $600 fix.As for me they estimated $3000 I told them no that can't be right they told me something was wrong with multiple things when I knew only 2 things needed to be fixed I told just fix the 2 things ended up being $800 which I believe was still overpriced but got done anyway J&R lies and is not honest with their customers we will Never be going there agian.Services: General repairs & maintenance

About a year and a half ago I just traded a Santa Fe for a newer one, my old one needed $1300 of work. Brought my new one to Rick's J&R to look it over. I told them my old Santa Fe needed $1300 of work and they told me my new one needed the SAME EXACT THING. At the same time my son brought his car in and they told him the cars engine was shot, offered him $200 for it. He got a second opinion from Darrells Auto (awesome by the way). Darrells put in a part, cost my son $50, he's been driving the car just fine ever since, it's been about a year and a half now. I question if my car even needed the $1300 of work after they pulled the fiasco with my son's car. When he said he wanted to take it for a second opinion they even took out his starter so he couldn't take his own dang car! I'll never go to J&R again.

Do not use this company, If you would like your vehicle back anytime soon -they have had our Nissan since August and we got it back today!! We had to take it back because the transmission still leaked and they didnt replace needed sensors. They told us they could do the repairs, an engine replacement, etc. while having it they broke some parts which required additional time and money spent which we were never told we owed until we picked it up the second time. . We were also never given a written estimate so they could charge us what they want. I’m not sure if my vehicle is even trustworthy after all of this.Service: Engine repair

Even though they don't do windshield replacements...the staff took the time to give us the name and numbers of several locations that do provide that service...VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF!!

The worst place. They tried to scam me out of my car! My car seemingly overheated one day and wouldn't start again so I brought it here to J+R. They put a starter in and told me the head gasket was blown and it would be $1400 to repair or $2000+ to replace the engine. They also offered to buy the car from me for "parts". I told them i didn't know what I wanted to do but I will probably sell it to them. He said he'll call me on Monday to talk about it with me. Monday came and went with no call. Eventually I decided I wanted another repair quote from another mechanic so I went to J+R to pay for the starter and what do I discover? They've taken the starter back out without my permission. I also mentioned those head gasket sealers and asked if there was any chance it might help my car, they said no the engine was too far gone. So they ended up charging me for an "inspection" even though I did have the starter replaced, the starter they decided to take back out without telling me. Not to mention they left my grille and my air intake in the passenger seat, they didn't even bother to put my car back together. So i got the car towed to another mechanic and you'll never believe what he told me. The engine was perfectly fine. The head gasket was in good condition. J+R lied to me. He replaced the starter and it runs well with no issues. As for why the car told me it overheated that one day is a mystery, but it was running well again now. I paid the new mechanic $277 for the starter and got my car back which runs great. It didn't make sense at the time but now it's obvious. The reason the J+R guys took the starter back out without telling me is because they were worried I would start the car and realize there was nothing wrong with it. They lied to me so they could buy my car at a really cheap price just to resell it. Scamming criminals they are at J+R. Never come here. Who knows how many others they have scammed out of their cars. They lied right to my face, they didn't do what I asked of them, and they tried to trick me into basically giving them my fully functional car. They aught to be put out of business.

Very upfront and knowledgeable!!! Noticed other issues while up on the hoist and gave a detailed assessment of what needs to be done immediately and what could wait along with a quote. Also being a 3M employee I received a 10% discount by showing my badge. Highly recommend Rick's J&R repair!!
