Dr. John is a great veterinarian and an amazing human being! He was wonderful in treating my 16 year old cat and was excellent in communicating his treatment with me. When I had to put my cat down, Dr. Froning and staff were kind and considerate and I would highly recommend Animal Medical Center for pet care.

Their compassion is lacking. They seem to be too busy to fully embrace the job that they are suppose to ultimately be doing. Seems like more of an assembly line with factory workers. Rather than helping pet owners and their animals and their well being. I have all the respect for the senior vet there but his practice he had before was much more personable. I have an appointment to get my dog euthanized on Mon. I called saying I don’t think she’ll be ok over the weekend and was there any chance she can get in at the end of day? Big old NO. Anyone in this position knows how hard this is, but it doesn’t fit in to their schedule. WHAT?! You can’t make 15 min work? Where is the compassion and the true meaning of your job. To HELP the animal. Unfortunately we will be switching vets. I maybe should’ve switched before I need to do this. It took 3 times to euthanize my 18 year old cat. Prices are getting pretty steep as well.

Dr. John has incredible compassion, both for the animals and the owner. He is incredibly thorough in his exam and diagnosis, thoughtfully considers and shares treatment options, and is patient and kind with all of my questions. He is the very best Veterinarian that I know!

Thought this was a good vet but I will no longer return in the future. My cat was not even 2 years old and they made it seem like the only option was euthanasia or having to pay over $2000 for test bloodwork and other things. Don’t take your animals here they don’t care and just seem to be in it for the money. CARE FOR THE ANIMALS!!!

The staff at AMC on Crow River are truly the best. They show such care and compassion, communication is top notch. I couldn't imagine having to go anywhere else with my "fur babies".

Extremely disappointed with the staff and their lack of proffesionalism. After addressing a concern with records of my pup without anyone competent enough to give any guidance, I somehow offended and hurt someone’s feelings. I discovered this months later when I called in to schedule an appointment and was told to take my dog elsewhere for care. If you want to deal with a high school attitude and the entitlement that comes with it, this is your place. I’d highly recommend other options to bring your pet.
