This place has a great variety of machines and free weights. Some of the equipment is a bit outdated but it's still very usable and gets the job done. As far as members go, everyone seems pretty decent overall. I have gone in for workouts during the day and at night and everyone has been respectful. Locker rooms are decent but cleanliness is a bit lackluster. I would personally not use the stalls within the men's locker room unless absolutely necessary. The urinals and everywhere around them seem to always be covered in urine. I've seen onsite management go in with a mop during my workouts, but nothing really seems to change when they are finished. That's the only real thing keeping this review from being five stars.

AFC is close to my home, the new owner has added some great new equipment and the staff make this a well run and clean facility. I am in some of the best shape of my life!

Absolutely love going to this gym, such a positive and non-judgemental environment. Perfect gym for anyone whether you’re older or younger, a family or just you. Best part is knowing it’s a local gym you’re supporting and not a corporate chain.

Top Gym in Hutchinson. Motivated new owner and manager willing to meet members fitness needs. Only place in town to lift weights with actual deadlift bars and Ohio power bars. Great gym!

I have been a member for, gosh, probably 14 years at least. I enjoy classes when I can make them, have fun playing racquetball to change it up, have read oodles of books while on the cardio machines I rarely have to wait to use, and feel comfortable lifting free weights with the wide variety of members who also choose AFC. I sure appreciate my workout family.
